Mardis Gras Feb.24 09

So tuesday Feb. 24 is Mardis Gras this year. Is there anything special going on at Disneyland for it? perhaps resies for Ralph Brennans would be in order?

I arrive on the 24th, and didn't even think about Mardi Gras. Maybe something special happenin in New Orleans Square. I'm sure there will be music.

We were there around that time once before, not right during Mardi Gras. They had a fellow, a chef or dressed like a chef.... throwing the beads from the balcony where the gallery was and from the stairs in the Courtyard of Angels. We have a few strings of the beads from then, the kids loved it. I just thought they would have something in New Orleans Square that day. I guess actually it would be more fun to eat in either the French Market or Cafe Orleans if there is anything going on.

I think they might bring the band out a little more for it, with the great female singer (I never remember her name). When ever the band is out they throw beads for everyone.

Personally I would still eat at Jazz Kitchen, but then I am just not as big of a fan of Cafe Orleans or French Quarter (it smelled terrible in there last time I went, but that might be my pregnant nose ).

Just remember your at Disney don't do anything too wild for those beads

Like stealing them from a little kid!
