Mardi Gras 2012 line-up announced.

Im confused about their hours. I was thinking of going tomorrow since I do like the Goo Goo Dolls. But the web site says the park closes at 8:00. Yet the parade is at 8:00 and the concert is at 8:30.

Can someone fill me in on how everything works? I haven't been to a Mardi Gras since Kiss was there like 13 years ago lol

The park will close at 8pm but the parade and concert start later. That means...no one else will be allowed into the park after 8pm and the attractions will shut down. Basically...the only thing you can do after the park closes is to eat, drink and watch the parade and concert.

We will be going to Universal this weekend to watch the concert for the 1st time. Is the concert and Mrdi Grast in City Walk or Universal. If the concert is in Universal is it held in the Production Ctr? How do we know what time the concert starts?

The concerts are staged in the Universal Music Plaza which is located inside the Studios across from Monsters Cafe. You cannot see or hear anything from CityWalk. There is no seating...standing room only. Big Time Rush is going to bring a lot of youngsters out this weekend so if you really want to see the concert, I would advise you to stake out your spot no later than 4pm or so. The concert starts at 8:30pm this week. The parade begins at 8pm tomorrow night so don't miss it!

We are going for my preteen daughters who loves Big Time Rush. We were planning on leaving home at 8AM (we live about an hr away). So now I can sleep in. Can you bring a blanket to sit or must you stand the whole time while you wait?
