Hey Warriors!
I've slacked off on posting for a couple of weeks, but have been running. My real totals are 88 miles and 15 hours. My double race miles add up to 28 for March so my miles are now 116. It will be a long time before I can top that one! I do feel a bit aimless after doing 3 races in March. I'm pretty much out of long races until October and I get nervous without a goal...
I just did the Swamp Run 10k on Saturday. It was great temperature wise, but really humid. It's roads and about 2 miles of trail running. It's a fun race. I actually was third in my age group and won a trophy! How funny is that?! I have it propped up on my curtain rod o' medals. (I don't think there were many others in my age group, but that's totally beside the point
). The best part? This run is linked in with Swampfest, which is this weekend- so I can totally justify my traditional fried Oreo.
Hope everyone is doing well and the injured are feeling better!
