MARCHing like Mulan - Exercise Challenge

I was trying to behave myself but hubby and I walked over an hour through some of the monuments after supper. Hmack, sorry you weren't able to get in. I guess that's why so many popular races are going lottery.

Tomorrow is expected to be a wet race so I may have lots of minutes to report here. :rolleyes1

Hope everyone has a great and active Saturday.

Good luck tomorrow mrs ar! DH and I are considering the 10k during MCM weekend in October. I would love to hear what you think of running in DC. Not sure where the r&r course is but in general i think it would be cool to run there. Plus a good race-cation in my opinion.

55 minutes of weight training yesterday, 35 minutes of abs and 35 minutes of yoga today brings me to 505/1000. And now I'm going to lay down and watch some 30 Rock :)

fingers were too slow - I didn't get in.

Sorry to hear you didn't get in :(

I've heard the Disneyland races sell out VERY quickly too but hopefully not that quickly!

What I'm most excited about though is that I've managed to get my butt out of bed twice this week and run before work. I'm like the anti-morning person so this is a huge feat. I'm working on forming habits and this is one of the main ones I am aiming for. Reading an awesome book that's helping me take a close look at my life and hopefully feel less stressed and overwhelmed- called The Sweet Spot. So far I highly recommend it.

Happy pi day everyone! And Friday too! :)

I love going to the pool before work but it is hard to get out of bed. It feel so good afterwards but so does my warm cozy bed! I'm working 6:30-2:30 for the two weeks of spring break and I'm really missing the early morning pool.

Had a good couple of days so I'm a little closer to being back on track but will still need to kick it up a notch for the last two weeks if I want to come close to my goal.

sorry I wasn't here for you all this morning. I slept a bit this morning and when I got up I had about 15 mintues to get ready to head out for our 5K. I'll be back on track tomorrow.

My time wasn't the best, but not a bad start for my first 2015 event.

Didn't plan to go out again today, but y'all inspired me and I walked 2 miles. Thanks! :)

I've got to get better about posting! I miss the app, where with one click I was here! :o Anyhoo, my minutes are all the usual: walk, swim, Y class. Although, maybe not class now that I think about it. Our instructor had her appendix out! I slept in those 2 days! :rolleyes1 That could put me off schedule especially since yesterday at the pool I saw it will be closed for a week. :headache: Probably means more sleeping in for me! :cloud9:

Keep up the good work!

Good Sunday Morning everyone!

Think we can do it???? I do. With this amazing crew, anything's possible!

Quote of the week:
Code Red, repeat: we're at Code Red! Recon plan Charlie: Execute! Let's move, move, move, move, move! this was said by a character who holds the rank of Sargeant.

What movie is that quote from?

Fell off the wagon for a bit after hurting my foot, and only have 20 minutes to report from the past couple of days.
