not much time for chit-chat this morning. I have a 7:15 am meeting in a town about 40 minutes away from mine (now, who thought that was a good idea?)

BUT -

I do want to recognize our newest true bluer:
psutraveler!

and our newest outsanding orange folks:
SarahDisney
DisneyBelle99
and dglilbit

Also - as a team we are now ONLY 680 minutes away from being ORANGE. We have a goal of meeting that by the end of the day tomorrow. Can we do it??

And remember, as one of my favorite Elephants once said, "Discipline! Discipline was the thing!" (Jungle Book)

The weekend didn't go quite as planned, but I did manage a 15 minute walk on Saturday - so glad to be able to get outside!

I made up for it Monday, though - subbed for a gym class. Movement was on and off throughout the day, so I'll estimate a round hour of actual good exercise.

That's 75 since last post, or 150/620 total.

I hope your meeting went well Hmack. Catching up on the past few days.
Monday 20 min run
30 min elliptical
10 min foam rolling
This morning 20 min run
I have a 1/2 Marathon race this Saturday so I'm trying to taper off some.
I think I'm finally starting to adjust to the new time. I hope everyone else is too.
392/1200

I'll contribute to the group Orange goal. Yesterday I did 30 min of arms and 20 minutes of abs. I'm planning to go for a run later today but for now, that brings me to:

295/1260

I feel like I haven't exercised in forever!! Jury duty is more time consuming than I thought :crazy2:. I also picked up a lively cold at court. The judge is giving us tomorrow off - I guess an out of town witness won't be here until Thursday. So hopefully, I'll feel better tomorrow and hit the gym!!
Congrats to everyone staying the course, it's very motivating to read!!
:thanks:

If my mid-day math is right

425! only 425 minutes to get us to O-R-A-N-G-E !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! by the end of the day tomorrow!!!!!!!

Can we do it????

34 minute lunch break walk for me today. It was in the 40s!

415/1000

Good Morning team!

I have a GREAT feeling about today. We are only 376 minutes away from reaching team Orange status....So many folks are on the cusp of changing colors...and my goodness you are all just plain amazing!

Mrs AR - tell us about your Half.

Does anyone else have any events of any sort coming up?

I have a lo-key 5K coming up on Saturday. It's a Pi Run on 3.14 and yes they will be serving pie at the end. The weather forcast looks a bit sketchy but it should be fun. It's a really small field (last time I knew there were 50 registrants) and that makes me a bit nervous but I'm just going to treat it like a fun training run and not worry too much about where I place. I mean, someone has to bring up the rear, right?

Remember to report those minutes, whether its 10 or 100 or somewhere inbetween every minute of exercise counts!

Good morning hmack- u r a great host- I love hearing from you each morning!

I'm adding a 30 min run this am to my total and the teams, which brings me to 325/1260 and officially orange myself!

As for events, I have a 5k at the beginning of may that I'm starting to train for. Each year DH and I run it together and last year he blew past me at the 2.5 mile mark and I really would like to prevent that from happening again! Or at the very least, improve on my time and break 33 min. Not sure if I will this year since I took 2 month off running and feel a bit like I'm starting all over now but ill do my best. Would be nice if I could get some track time in but were still waiting for some snow to melt...

Have a great day everyone!

60 minutes run/walk and 40 minutes walking brings me to 395/1000

A Pi Race sounds like fun, hmack! :cool2:

I would like to hear about your half, too, MrsAR ::yes::

I have a 5k in April and I'm hoping to break the 50 minute mark -- back of the pack is where it's at! :goodvibes

240/930!

3/5 - 90 min. incl. 1 hr of yoga. That hurt.
3/9 - 30 min. running outside!!!
3/10 - 45 min. running and weights

I like the sound of the Pi run too.
I'm running the R&R Washington DC Sat morning. My hubby is running the 5K so I'm looking forward to the weekend together. We'll fly out Friday morning early then fly home again Sunday. Most of my trips are quick but I'll take what I can get. The weather forecast is 100% rain, but I've run 2 other 1/2 marathons in the rain so I'm not too worried just trying to decide what to wear.

I did get great news a few days ago. I was drawn in the NY Marathon lottery. I'm so excited.

What a beautiful day to have off, 45 degrees and sunny!
Went for a walk/run over at the zoo, the path goes over the Genessee River. Lots of people out exercising today.
