March Trip Thread

We had fast passes for Frozen. Now I can say we did it, and never have to ride it again. Honestly people must love it for what it is about and not the ride. Not much to it at all.

Headed back to camp and just relaxed. My sister and her family's is in the 1400 loop, so we spent some time over there. After dinner we all went to the gaint bat house and watched the bats come out. I was really thinking a hundred or more would come flying out at one time, but instead just a few at a time came out, still neat to see. Got to see a beautiful sun set while waiting.

No worries, bus showed up just a few minutes after we arrived. Animal Kingdom was really nice, not too crowded. Being annual pass holders most of the time we make weekend trips, big difference in crowds during the week. First we stopped to see the baby otters and then off to the safari ride.

Walked the jungle trek, saw some bats and tigers then off to Everest.

After Everest we headed back to camp. We had to get ready for dinner, we had reservations at Ruth Chris Steak House (thanks to a gift card). Dinner was amazing. Back to camp for a bike ride and to check out the food truck. Back now at the camper and just relaxing. Sad day tomorrow as we pack up and head home.

Thanks for all the photos especially the ones of Epcot Flower and Garden show. Absolutely stunning. The DW, DD and I would like to see this one day. Who knows....

Wow Terri. Hope you post that TE porch/foot picture in the Kickin' It thread.

Those turkeys are Yuge!

Do you have an AP? we had a poster ask about AP campsite discounts in a recent thread on the board. I thought of you as an expert.

thanks for the pix. You done good.

PS - we still got a week to go. Will anyone answer the March challenge and post about their March trip in this thread?

Another fun day and another round of fantastic pics.

Thanks for letting us tag along.

We head over there on Friday. I hope to leave around 10 to get there by 2 and do some mini-golfing with our passes. I'm still not used to going to the Fort and actually visiting the parks so I'm having a tough time figuring out what we don't need to bring. No E-Z up, no bikes, no fans, little food. We camp with AlOT of stuff and I find it easier to just carry with us JUST IN CASE. I imagine Magic Kingdom will be hellish on Saturday so the plan is to rope drop, head back to the campground around 1:30, eat lunch and dinner there, and return to the park from 6:30ish to 11. My 4 year old is at the perfect age for these trips - he's so excited!!

Yes, we have APs, will look for that thread. Will do with the Kicki' thread. Turkeys were everywhere! First time we have seen more turkeys than deer.
