OK so I have been totally bummed about having to cancel my Disney vacation for the 2nd time, and about the Physical Torture(PT) I have been going through. So today when I got home from PT I checked the mail and woooo hoooo in my mail box was the elusive Disney pin .

I now have booked us for June 2- June 8 at Sport with free QS dining. With Dale's new promotion he is supposed to have Fridays off so if he gets June 1st off we will drive down there early Friday morning and likely just stay OP for that one night. If he doesn't get the whole day off we will do what we usually do and leave to drive down around noon.

I am cautiously optimistic about these dates since I have had to make so many changes, but I think this one will be the one that sticks!!!

Small update on my recovery---I go back to the surgeon on Thursday and I am hoping I can talk him into taking an xray of my shoulder. My knee is coming along fine and I want the pain in my shoulder and arm to be gone too!!!

As we said in our texts back and forth, I am super dooper excited that you finally go a pin and one that will work for you! Hopefully, ya'll will get to Disney on Friday so we can meet up if only for a little while.

I am just surprised I got a pin code, in my name, that works for us. It says 5/1/12-5/31/12, but it says to call or sign on to see what other dates are available. It actually does turn out to be free dining too. I ran the numbers with the pin code and with the spring discount and the pin code came out better.

I am hoping Dale gets that Friday off because I really want to get down there and meet up with y'all .

When we were planning our trip for March I was unable to get us reservations at T-Rex, but was able to find two for May, well I went in and canceled those. We now have one for June 3rd . I can't wait to eat there, I know Dallas is going to love it. I also have reservations at Tony's as that is one of Dale's favorite restaurants.

I am debating making more TS ADRs, but don't know that I need to since we will have the QS dining plan. I am looking forward to trying the QS plan to see if we like it.

She mentioned it to Matt and he was interested too, so she is going to run some numbers and see if it will fit in their budget. I am excited about the prospect. Unless I am badly mistaken I can book them a room using my pin code and it will be a great price!! It would be so much fun since we haven't all been at the same time since 2009.

Wooooooooo hoooooooo I was able to book them a room with my pin code. It took an hour and 15 minutes to get it all taken care of, but finally got it done. Amanda is already making an itinerary........ I will make us an off site reservation for June 1st when we get closer to our dates. I am super excited and so ready for a Disney fix.

On another note; I went to the doctor today and he has ordered an MR Arthogram of my shoulder. We will find out then if I need surgery or just more time in PT. I just want to get this resolved so I can get back to work and some type normalcy.

I have to go have my MRA today . I am not looking forward to it because I hate needles so much . Yeah I know a nurse that hates needles . From everything that I have read, and what the nurse told me yesterday, they will inject the dye directly into my shoulder and then start the MRI. I am having an open MRI as I am very claustrophobic and there is no way I could handle going in the closed machine .

Well the news I got from my MRA wasn't good . I hope I NEVER have to go through that again either . They inject the dye into the shoulder joint capsule directly and BOY DOES IT HURT. I have a band-aid on my chest right under my right clavicle. They use fluoroscopy to guide the needle and then they inject the dye .

As soon as the doctor started injecting the dye he saw the tear. When I got up from the floroscopy table I asked them to show me the tear and WOW........it is a full thickness tear. The whole shoulder capsule was full of contrast. I still had to go through with the MRI though, and it just confirmed it.

Now I will end up having surgery AGAIN!!! I am going to request another doctor, one that listens, because I have no faith left in the doctor who was just blowing it off as if I was stupid . He has been pushing it off, and now it is a full thickness tear that I have possibly done more damage to with PT.

As I said on facebook, the test results are NOT what I wanted to hear. I can only imagine how angry, frustrated and upset you are right now. I don't blame you for wanting to switch doctors. Surely, you can get somebody to pull some strings for you and get another one on your case pretty quickly. If they are going to do surgery, they need to get busy with it 'cause you're going to Walt Disney World in June!

Thank you Michelle . The only problem about the doctor situation is that my hands are kinda tied since it is workmans comp. I wish that didn't make a difference, but it does. I will find out later today(since it is now almost 1:30am) which doctor I can change to.


I sooooooooo hope we can drive down early that Friday. I am now starting to wonder where I will be in my rehab 4 months from now. From the little research I have done since this evening, most of it says up to 6 months POST OP..

It's nice that you have an upcoming vacation to speed that healing along! How exciting that you and Leanne will be there at the same time, there is nothing like seeing old friends in our happy place!
