I am a married 32-year-old mother of two precious daughters. We are experienced cruisers but this will be our first Disney cruise and we are very excited! We plan on flying into CA on Thursday afternoon and spending Friday and Saturday at Disneyland and California Adventure.

We would like to participate in the fish extender exchange as well.

Myself, my DH,DS(celebrating his 13th birthday on the cruise) our setting sail on our first Disney cruise March 6th to the riviera...we are huge Disney fans and live here in California and own annual passes to Disney...we have been to walt Disney world many times and this past summer went to disneyland Paris in Europe....We are so excited because my brother and his family, step sister and her daughter(celebrating her 16th birthday on the cruise) and dad and stepmom are also going with us ....We love the DIS boards and are excited to get to know you guys before the trip, we would also love to be apart of the Fish extenders...we don't have our state yet we are still GTY status....I am also hoping the rest of the family would like to participate in the FE's but I will have to find out and get them on the DIS boards

Kevin and I will be spending time in the parks definitely Friday and possibly Saturday, depending on how busy it is. We might also just hang out at the GCH pool on Saturday. On Friday we'll probably end up at the Cove at some point and stay there to watch WoC and have appetizers for dinner. If anyone's interested in splitting a bottle of Magicale, let me know!

I am so excited that we are only 60 days out now from our first disney cruise...I gave my stepmom, sister and sister in law the info to get on the dis boards...my step mom and dad and step sister and 15 year old daughter who will be celebrating her 16th bday on ship definitely want to be apart of FE'S...both of their state rooms are on GTY status right now...I am hoping my SIL and DB will also want to participate I think it will be fun for the kids , I will have them get on this thread as soon as they sign up

I just checked my reservation and saw that the price was lowered by $58.00

I am booked under the TA discount so I am not sure if it will be more for those who paid standard rates.

Thanks, that is interesting. I likewise booked at the TA rate. I took a look at the DCL website and see that it shows my total price as $29.08 less than what I paid (there are two of us in the cabin). Did we get a refund?

ETA: just called my Disney rewards card... no refund posted

When I talked to Disney today they said that my credit was pending to my Disney Visa. We have four of us traveling so that explains the difference in refund.

Now I am just waiting for the next great TA deal to jump on and book. I told my dh I don't think I will ever be able to pay the standard rate again.

Hello everyone. I've been reading this board for a week and thought I'd come out of the lurking closet.

My family is going on this cruise for Christmas! It's going to be our first cruise, and we're very excited!

Here are our details:

Myself - 30, live in Anaheim, CA
My wife - 30, lives in Anaheim too (Believe it or not) and is a Disneyland CM
My Daughter - 20 months, lives in Anaheim (Who'd of thunk?) Loves going to Disneyland to see Mom at work and hang out with Mickey.

As I said, this is our first cruise, so we are feeling our way through it and appreciate all the info and trip reports this site has to offer. Thanks everyone! Hope to see you on board!

Mine also said a refund and I booked a standard rate... can anyone tell me how much of a difference the TA rate was compared to the standard rate I am also a TA but was out of town on vacation and didn't get the TA rate in time..I was just curious because we are planning another cruise later this year out of port canaveral and I was wondering if it would be worth it to keep an eye out for the TA rates...
