March 6, 2011 Disney Dream 4 night cruise

Thanks! We booked when silvers were allowed to call in for the Dream and then converted it to onboard bookings last Mardi Gras. At that time we had two cabins on this cruise and the 3 day following it-but I "borrowed" two cabins to book Alaska and squeezed us all into one 4A about a month or two ago...How old are your teens-my 17 year old is very shy -the 14 year old is the opposite and my daughter is a combination of the two!

My twins just turned 17 and they are Juniors this year. They have been sailing on the DCL since they were 5. We just skipped the year they were 14 because I didn't want them in with the older teens. But at 15 and 16 they loved the teen club and hopefully will again this year.

My girls are twins, but they don't look alike and their personalities are very different. One is quieter (not shy, but quiet) and very athletic and the other is talkative and outgoing (a cheerleader).

My 16 year old (he's a junior this year) opted to stay home and go on a school trip-he liked the teen clubs-my oldest one didn't. They all tease each other so much-it's just too hard for them to interact while their siblings are around...

This will be our first Disney Cruise!! My DD turns 13 on March 5th and we cannot wait to see the Dream - I have looked through the posts - but I don't see any FE people!! Doesn't anyone want to do this??? I sounds like so much extra fun !! Maybe I missed something... Glad to see there will be some tweens onboard. My daughter keeps saying she won't make any friends, but I know she will!! Can't wait to see the ship in America!! I have really enjoyed watching all the updates on the ship's progress!! It's going to be great!!

We have done the FE in the past, when my Grandchildren were with us, but have decided not to do it this time. Sorry ! I agree it is alot of fun. Hope you get a group together.

MEE TOO !! I did go back through and found a couple of people - but I've never done it, so I hope someone else is willing to organize it.. My dd I have already made our FE- I hooe we get to use it - !!!I am soo excited about this cruise...

I would really like to do the FE exchange I know my DD (11) and I and even my DH enjoyed it on our last cruise!!! Hopefully we can generate more interest in the coming months.

We are definitely in. I have my 4 year old dd loved it. Even my DH was impressed by the whole concept when we did it.

I'm soo glad there are other people that want to do this. I have already been picking up little things here and there... Since I have never done this, I hope someone else will kinda be in charge of The organization of it.. I think it could probably get pretty big considering some of the other posts on FE's I have seen.. Well I will have to be patient !! SOOOO EXCITED !!!!

Happy to see more families on our Roll Call !

We're doing the B2B also. We have an aft verandah on the Mar 6, but were not able to get the same cabin on the Mar 10 cruise . Hopefully, you were able to keep your cabin.

Yes we were able to keep the same cabin.

Jim and Chris 2A 7606 incase someone is starting a FE list. I think they are starting one for the March 10th sail date as well.

I don't know what is all involved in organizing a FE exchange, but I am willing to learn with your help. I will be glad to keep a list of everyone that wants to participate and send them out. Based on my first FE exchange this past April, it was really nice to get ideas about what the kids liked (gum, candy, etc.) and were into. It really makes shopping easier, or gets those creative juices flowing!!!!! So, if you are game then I am too!!!

Thanks for stepping up ! The FE is always fun. Other than getting a list of names and cabin #'s, not much else to it.

If I may make a suggestion. 1 gift per cabin

Maybe the cabin's with kids could exchange kids' gifts also.

Maybe we're the only "couple". If that's the case, I'd be happy to give to the kids as well.

If you do a search on the Disboards for organizing the FE you might get more info.

Well I know that for our family, we couldn't book anymore. They must be full in terms of families with teens (we are 2 adults 2 teens). But it looks like 2 adults can still book.

Have you checked it out on the Disney Cruise website? I think the ship is almost full.

We definitely want to do the FE. As for gifts, we can do just the kids or one gift per family. We are completely open! We are silver but I am hooked so I know we will eventually going to be platinum

Hi this will be my and my DD -13- first cruise I absoliutely know that I am more excited than she is - however when I showed her all the cool magnets Jordak had created with her name on them - she sorta lit up - it's tweendom angsty I gues, but I KNOW SHE'S GOING TO HAVE A BLAST. We want to do FE's and am open to either way. But it does sound like so much extra fun for everyone I sort of hope everyone can be included !! Im a kid at heart what can I say?? I have been picking little things up here and there for kids- guess I better cut that out for now.. I do have a good idea for a family/cabin gift so I'm covered there too... Can't wait til Saturday when she rolls out of MW- man I really hope someone in Germany films it...Just read today about new onboard entertainment, and new additions to Pirates night..I CAN'T WAIT !!!!!!!!!!!:
