First Disney Cruise-been booked for 1 year. Very excited. We are from New Orleans and can't wait to escape the Mardi Gras Madness!! Me and my SIL are bringing our kids. Been on many Carnival cruises and was told I'll never want to go back to Carnival once we experience Disney!

New to the Disboards! Just found out about fish exchange yesterday. I know the cut off is today. If I made it in time, we would love to participate.

Yes, you are right. We had set the cut off for Feb 6 awhile back but changed it to Feb 1. So, yes, you should be included !

Now that Disney is telling us what time to show up at the ship I wanted to tell our sailing (March 6th) go look at your Online Check-In. Need to fill this form out as soon as you can to get a early time or pick your time. We have 11:00-11:30am. Ten AM is for the high rollers and return guest.

Since this is our first cruise and FE do we need to make a basket/ bag to put out on the fish extender. Is this like Halloween and people put items in the basket or do we need to make it where the gift can hang on the hook. I guess I'm asking do you get a lot of gifts at one time and they need to fit in a small space. Yes our gift is small don't worry.

Hi ! We also are from the Greater New Orleans area. Have a son(10) and my friends daughter(9), plus our husbands, looking forward to our 1st cruise. Battling the flu again...round "2". Didn't get to sign up in time for the FE, but looking forward to fun on our first ever cruise!!

Are you planning to ship your box of FE's to the ship ?
I think I might. I have never done that but it seems easy to do.
I'll post the info in case anyone wants to know how to send it.

Hello everyone, I'm new to the board. My twin sister and I will be traveling for our first cruise ever on the March 6th Disney Dream. We'll be celebrating our Birthday on March 8th which happens to be Mardi Gras. So, I was wondering, do you know if Disney plans anything on board for this? Is anyone bringing beads?
