Michelle

Hi Everyone... Guess I have a lot of pages to catch up on... I bet you have already had this conversation..... We opened the mailbox today after 9 days away and we got 2 different things from my OTHER husband.... Mickey Mouse...:cool1: One with a DVD and the other about the Western POCs... Makes me excited... Now I will read and find out that I am the last one  because we have been away... I will post after I catch up...:hippie:

It was 74 degress out yesterday, the sun was shining!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I get out my lawn chair and just sit there basking in the sun, I missed you my little ball of gas.

Today, I have really bad sunburn on my arms and chest!!!!!!!!!

Bad sun bad:lmao:

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday....:grouphug:

Michelle

It is such a joyful day those first glorious days of spring...:flower1:... I know how you feel, you just gotta forego the sunscreen that first time to remind yourself! ;)
Have an awesome day all!

Oh my... I was going to try to catch up yesterday and it took soooo long, I had to come back to it today. So here goes; I promise not to take up an entire page.:upsidedow

First :welcome: to Lisa and "Pack". We usually travel that way too. My DH actually requested that this cruise we try solo with just our DIS Family, so I will try not to act as the "pack rat" :lmao: this time... So I know how it is to travel in a group. Now Paige will be the same age as my DS and Alayna & your granchild will be just a wee bit older than my DD. So we can maybe let them chat before hand. That has always worked for us...
Bring on the Beads... We will hand them out with you and party like Rock Stars... A certain party of us takes a Mom's Gone Mild (Lady Story) trip every year, so as long as it does not go "Wild"; we will be ok... Happy you are joining us...

D~ I am happy your MIL is doing better... Prayers to you all... The Kitchen/Laundry Room looks AMAZING.... Thanks for sharing... Great job and so worth it! Happy you were able to enjoy the cooler weather in FL even though it was not what you were wishing for... Sun is still better than snow.. Hope you are enjoying DD's visit... Post pictures soon.

MicDay~ Cruise over Hawaii.... That's my girl... I knew I liked her. 7 Days of school....:rolleyes1 Sounds pretty awesome.. Even though my DS would have a fit... That was his one request... I guess there is a difference though in age. His middle school teachers say.... "No make ups for vacation". The grade school ones are totally fine with it though. If you like Dumbo; I can sew him BTW... Maybe we should think about shirts prior to going. I will have to do them this summer though.:cutie:

BJ~ As I told Em... Way to go with the dance teams.. You guys are "kicking sum booty".... Is everyone over the "Sickies" yet? As far as the parking space... You are being "Bold Brenda" so "Stinky Tinky" & "Bold Brenda" paired with the Bushwackers.... SPELLS "Great Cruise".:rotfl:

Lady Story~ We have been with you through 4 St. Patty's parties now... All of the talk, the food and the photos... Next year we have t celebrate on the ship before hand, because I feel left out... Don't we look Irish too?:rotfl2::rotfl2: This year we did party though.. Even wore Green All Day.. Welcome to our Basketball world.... Your DS will soon be following in the steps of mine.. Our season was so busy, that I never got out Christmas Cards... That topped with DH's issues... Crazy few months. Tell him way to go now run those bases...:woohoo:

ALL~ Can someone add a countdown ticker of the months/weeks/days instead of just days... As Wanda & Mark have pointed out we are under the 1 year mark and that seems so much shorter than days...:banana: I just have a little difficulty doing that computer stuff as some of you know..:headache:

As far as the 80's... It was my favorite era... Did you check out DD's Pics on FB? 80's all the way... That Flash From The Past Day was more exciting for me than her... To my discovery when shopping, I found all of my old clothes at the mall... The kids think it is something new.... NOT..... We just have not pulled out the Agua Net yet.:goodvibes

Now today is my last day off... Back to reality after vacation... I am with you MicDay.... Need to earn the Dead Guys on paper to pay off my second husband... MICKEY!!!:dance3:

No OTHER up-dates right now. 9 days away put things on hold for a bit... Just much needed R&R... TTYL....

LURKERS~ There has to be others out there traveling with us... If I do not have a family Pack this time, I need a DIS Pack.... Welcome Again Lisa, ED & Family.:grouphug:

Just checking in to pull us from the bottom...:scared1: Where are you guys... Yes, D is very busy planning ANOTHER wedding...:lmao: (No congrats!) Lady Story is busy drinking Latte's, BJ is busy with the kids going to state, MicDay is busy making dead guys on paper.....
Lisa, Wanda, Amy, Lurkers... Where or where are you? :confused3

I finally figured out what was wrong with me?!

I had my thyroid yearly check-up and it was way high!:scared1:

So high my Doc made me take extra meds, boy it's great not feeling sooooo tired and wiped out.

I was losing weight for our cruise, walking, eating better and every time I drop weight my thyroid freaks out?? I just do not get it?

Bright side is the weather was sunny again today, it's raining now.

James and Madison are going to the drag races tomorrow. Madison is so excided, she LOVES to watch drag racing w/ James. Me, not so much. Ashley Force Hood is her driver and part of her ticket is she gets to meet her and get an autograph. Racing is so cool that way.

Now I need the Baseball fans to pip up. My FIL who sick w/ cancer is a HUGE Braves fan. James and I wanted to take him to Atlanta to see a Braves game. He's never been, always wanted to. Where are the best seats? Who is the best match-up? Is there anything you can do to meet any players/ walk the field thing? Any input would be great!

Hope everyone has a great night!

Michelle

Hi All!

Spent a whirlwind week with my DD who was home on her spring break. As Tink said we were busy planning a wedding. June 10, 2011 is THE DAY!!!! Church is reserved; reception site booked; and wedding dress ordered. Next round of planning this summer when DD comes home in July!

Michelle--glad to hear that you are feeling better. So sorry about your FIL. Hope you can take him to a Braves game.

Just a little over 11 months away, Bushwacker gang!!!!!!

Thanks Donna! Where is the picture of the dress, I want pictures!

Another nice day here, last two days of pure rain. Ark, anyone!

Hope everyone has a great day!

J- How was the hottie Bon Jovi??

Michelle

J- How was the hottie Bon Jovi??
Michelle

My hottie JBJ was AWESOME! He totally rocked it - as did the whole band. Of course we were on our feet the whole time, and my feet and legs are killing me!! We had a little cocktail party before hand - decent food and free wine, so I definitely had my share...and then some. So I was feeling great!!

We had great seats on the floor - about 30 yards from the main stage, and about 15 yards from when they extented the stage in the middle of the show. I have some pics on FB, but they are blurry - my blackberry doesn't take good pix in that kind of lighting. But you can kind of get the idea of where we were...

My favorite part of the evening was him singing "Hallelujah" - the most famous version of the song is by Jeff Buckley, but JBJ's last night was so awesome.:cloud9:

And it was all thanks to my Dear Hubby who got me the tickets/VIP package for my birthday.

All in all, it really was a great night - and now my friend is trying to get us tickets for when he plays in Hershey, PA!!

I'm so tired today though, and my brain isn't firing on all cylinders. I've gotten hardly any work done today!:scared1:

Ciao for now!!
Johnna

I'm glad you had such a blast!!:rockband:

Great Hubby's are priceless!!!!!!!!!!!

Off to bed now, early day tomorrow....

Good Night everyone, sweet dreams..:cloud9:

Michelle

Sorry Michelle! I've been instructed to not show anyone (or post) pics of the wedding dress. Her DSIL and myself are the only ones who get to see her in it before the wedding although her Dad did get to see a picture!

Johnna, Glad you had such a great time! Its wonderful to cut loose once in awhile.

Had our first 80+ degree temps in Missouri today since early last fall and more great weather tomorrow! Dory, my toy Aussie, and I have been getting back in the groove of our run/walks. She's gotten a little chunky this winter. :rotfl2: I'm really thinking about doing the Food & Wine Half Marathon at WDW in October. Anyone want to join me?????

Talk to y'all later!

I'm really thinking about doing the Food & Wine Half Marathon at WDW in October. Anyone want to join me?????

I can get behind the food and wine part, but definitely not the marathon part! :rotfl::lmao::rotfl::lmao::rotfl2:

I crack myself up.

Seriously - I'm just not a runner, but I will completely support your training and running Donna. Good luck!!! :woohoo:

Johnna,

I was thinking the same thing!! I was quoted " You run like your stomping roaches" Never could run, if I tried now I think I'd feel like a big bowl of Jello!

Wiggle.......

Donna,

Ok, I want pictures after the wedding!

Michelle

Oh, I go away for a couple of days to deliver a few babies (weather and full moon) and I come back and I am a few pages behind....:scared1:

Congrats D~ I am excited about this wedding for you. I can not wait to see the MofB dress. You sure looked beautiful before. You will have to sneek us a picture on the ship so we can see the dress...

Lady Story~ Looks as if you had a great time. You can see how close you were. Makes AWESOME memories... WAY TO GO Mark... I bet I know a way to get you to run.... Put BonJovi on stage and tell you the first lady that gets there gets dinner and a personal song sung to them... I bet you would move faster than me running towards Mickey's Boat!:goodvibes You have been to see them how many times since I have known you?

All
I support all of my running friends... As you can imagine though, the only way I run is if they yell a baby is coming or if a baby starts to have problems. Other than that, the top part of my body does not allow me to run....:rolleyes1

Ok, I have to really crank out a lot of call days here soon. Yes I know I usually do it close to cruise time, but this time we have to pay for our deck, finish our landscaping and pay off Mickey 100%. DH wants the money in the bank for the Bushwackers BEFORE we go this time... I am getting excited because it is the first time DH is getting excited for the cruise too since our 2008 one. The others that were planned he just did not want to go. This one he is actually good with. May have to do with me agreeing to it just being us.;)

Lisa & Amy~ How are things in that section of the US?

MicDay & BJ~
Guys, I invite Mike & Family to go back with us on this cruise. I think the Western would be cool for his kids to visit. Looks as if they are going to do the Dream though. The Aqua Duck kind of sold them. The problem is I wanted his wife's next cruise to at least be a great one on and off the ship. Those Bahamas POCs are just so sad. Oh well.....

MicDay~ Sorry to here about the Tdrop. I sure hope your meds get it back in balance. Now don't all of you go loosing weight on me before the cruise. That would only give me something else to stress about.:headache:

HAPPY EASTER to all of you.... I think it is a Holiday all of us on our thread celebrates. If not, know we all embrace everyone's practice. :grouphug:

Just checking in....Hope everyone had a Happy Easter and the Easter Bunny brought you all LOTS of yummy Jelly Beans and Chocolate!!!!!!

We actually had a pretty quite but yet great day..we started our day off with the traditional egg hunt in our house, eww come to think of it, we still are missing 3 eggs!!!!! WE had to stop looking to get ready for church,...I just remembered that, guess we will be hunting for eggs again today LOL!!!!!

Anyway, after church we had dinner at my sisters here in town, one of the first years in a long time we haven't had Easter dinner here at our house, was kinda nice I must admit, then shortly after dinner Ron headed out to the farm and the girls and I went home, which gave us plenty of time for an afternoon nap!!!!!
So all in all it was a great day!!!!!!

Hope everyone has a good Monday/Week ahead, and hoping as well that spring is finding everyone!!!!! We have been having some really nice weather, with the occasional crappy days thrown in as well...it's the changing of the season I guess.. you never know what you are going to get LOL!!!!

:hug:brenda

Happy the EJKJ house celebrated the holiday perfect.... The afternoon to nap is oh so perfect... Our best cruise to date has been the one that we were able to find time to take a nap....;)

Ok the time is kicking away so fast but not yet fast enough. I have plotted out how many call days I have to take between now and December:lmao: We actually placed our reservation sheet on the side of the fridge to remind us of the final due date....

I have to start looking at the Western again.... To remind us what is there. We have not been since 2006. I am getting excited.... I think it is the weather change and that we are within the "I can officially book my air window."

Wow.. you all have been busy!
We had a nice Easter up north too. We travelled over to the next province (driving for 8 hours) to see my parents and family:hug:. WE left Wed afternoon and stopped 1/2 way and went the rest of the way Thurs. Back all the way on Monday on a Marathon drive, only stopping once 1/2 way for a quick run around the mall to stretch our legs an lunch at Micky D's so the kiddo could get a little more worn out! It worked she crashed for 2.5 of the last 4.5 portion of the drive. Whew, glad that is done for another year!
:thumbsup2Our dollar hit parity with the USD today so we are pumped about that... it makes the Mickey trip a little easier to pay for when we are not trying to make up that extra 10 - 15 cents on every dollar! Hope it stays that way for a bit so we can drop a few more $$ onto the bill!
Take care all... we are enjoying the spring weather and I am looking for things to do to entertain the kiddo while she is on spring break this week!:scared1:
We are getting closer and closer!!:cheer2:

OMGoodness..... What page were we on?

BJ when does the SWA dates open for our trave? Do you know yet? I hope all is well with everyone...

Lady Story, working from home today, thought you would have us on page #1Thread #1...:lmao: How is the son sport life going... Welcome to our world... Any word from Dave & Michael yet?

Mark~ Have you heard... We got a new Baseball field here for our Twins. How do you think they will do this year? That is an amazing gift don't you think?

Wanda~ Good to hear about the Canada dollar... We have some Canada money here the kids got as a gift and have been waiting for yout dollar to get even better. I guess I have to start watching it too. Let me know when to cash it in...:thumbsup2

D~ More wedding plans? Maybe we all have to come that way for the wedding.

MicDay~ Is James yet excited to be going back?

Lisa & Amy~ Are you getting the party planned on the boat for Fat Tuesday?

Hope all of you are well. I have been busy screaming "Push Push Push" and will for the rest of the week... Have to pay off Mickey some type of way....:goodvibes

LURKERS....... I know more people have to be sailing with us.... We are waiting to meet you.... Introduce yourselves and let's get to know each other....
