1634 - Samuel Cole opened the first tavern in Boston, MA. :smooth: :smooth:

1789 - The first Congress of the United States met in New York and declared that the U.S. Constitution was in effect.

Glo, it just said the first tavern was OPENED .

We can probably safely say our forefathers were hitting the hooch on their own long before then!
