I am putting together a list for latecomers. If there are enough, I will create a mini-group for them. If you would like, you can go ahead and get me the info so I can keep the list ready to go.

I need your stateroom number, DIS name, breakdown of stateroom occupants (including whatever you are comfortable with such as ages, names, family name), any celebrations, any important info (such as favorite characters, likes/dislikes, allergies to avoid serious whoopsies) and an email address to send the list to. The "Off road Xrails and Jade caverns" port adventure seems particularly prone to issues delays and it's a long excursion, and since Cozumel is such a brief port, we felt A LOT better going through Disney.

We'll be the group covered in mud running for the ship...

Tried to get the Jade Caverns excursion earlier tonight and it won't accept my group of 3 even though it's not officially sold out yet. What a bummer. It was my DD's first choice. Signed up for the Speed Boats instead. She's asleep on the couch right now and doesn't know yet. Oh well. I should have done all this sooner.

Well, I've made the deposit and have chosen to go outside of DCL for my Xrail to Jade Caverns excursion. I'm using This is Cozumel to book it. It says in the fine print that Wild Tours is the actual tour operator and they (Wild Tours) have 200 "excellent" ratings on Trip Advisor. This is Cozumel is kinda new to Trip Advisor and they only have 28 reviews (4-1/2 stars out of 5). Thinking I should be ok with this. It's probably better this way as I'm guaranteed to have 2 Xrails. My DH will be riding alone in his which, if we had gone with DCL, he may have had to ride shotgun with a stranger. Of course he wants to operate his own. I predict a VERY muddy man after this one. The cost is $160 per Xrail so it's gonna cost us $320. Whew, thank the gods for credit card rewards! It's a chunk of change but I think we'll have a blast.

DLBDS- that sounds like a pretty solid company! We booked ours through Disney (we are a party of 4), so we may "cross paths" out in the mud! If not, we'll definitely have to compare notes!!

Trying to think of some other ways to add some magic to our cruise! I am hoping that the late comer FE group will work out because now that I am off the fence, I realize how fun it will be!
Any other ideas for magical moments for my DH, DS10 and DD13?

Carry a camera with you everywhere. You never know who you might run into on the ship. The random run-in character encounters make for some of the best pics as they tend to be more....enthusiastic...than they are at the arranged photo ops.

If an excursion is sold out online, do they hold some spots to sell on the ship? I know I can keep checking to see if somebody cancels, but I was just wondering.

Yes, they do hold some spots to book on the ship. The same is true for dining reservations at Palo or Remy.
