So delivering the gifts isn't stressful? That's my concern.

I don't think it is. My DD and I had fun delivering our goodies last time. You don't have to do it all at once. You can spread out your deliveries over the length of the cruise. :)

So thrilled to see all the new members on this thread. Welcome, everyone! :cheer2:

I updated the roster, but please check it out and make sure I didn't miss anything. Some of the new additions are incomplete. I entered what information I could from posts. If any of your information is missing or incorrect, please feel free to edit the roster (link in the OP).

Also, some have expressed interest in doing a magnet exchange. If you are still wanting to participate, please post so I can get an idea how many we would have. If not very many are interested, we may scrap the magnet exchange.

We had 25 cabins in our Fish Extender and we were on the Dream which is much larger than the Wonder so it did take some time to walk around. It just burned off all of the Mickey Ice Cream bars we ordered from room service.

Hi Guys
You have been added to the FEE from the confirmation on the FB page. I've arranged the sheet by cabin#.
Welcome aboard.
Jeff

Hello all!! I just realized I haven't check this in forever! I have been on the Facebook page! We just got married at Disneyland on the 5th! It was MAGICAL! I am so excited about the cruise! I am working with a lady on ETSY for my FEE. And I have figured out what to make you all! I am NOT crafty but I am giving it a shot! So please be kind! Haha! We booked the ruins and beach in Cozumel, we figured that would be fantastic day. We weren't about to get a cabana for Castaway :(. Got our reservations for Palo for romantic time! And decided to do the Miami bus tour on departure day since we don't fly back to SD until 7pm! We are getting in so early to Miami, like 7am. We have no clue what we will do before we can get on the boat at noon. Any suggestions? Ha I want to go get booze but have booked the Disney bus, lol will they stop at a store!?! Anyone want to take me to the store?! Haha!!:cheer2:

Kelly Fucarile Johnston (kellyf2626), please confirm that you are in for the FEE. With Kelly, we will be at 23 cabins. Since the FEE is now closed, I'm changing the edit status of the Google doc to view only. Please let me know if any changes need to be made. The next question is do we want to break in to 2 smaller groups or stay as one larger. I plan on giving something to everyone no matter, it's just fun for us to do that. Let me know how everyone else feels on splitting or not. I will cross post this on fb.
Cheers
Jeff

PS - I should have added, we did get one more cabin to join yesterday before the cutoff - welcome SCJenn to the FEE group

I want to bring up the idea of everyone from the fb group and from here (most are the same, but not all) of getting together sometime during the cruise. A meet meet if you will. If someone already brought this up and I missed it I apologize.
On our last cruise, they did one on embarkation day. Unfortunately, they did it before we even got on the ship so we missed it. ( I was too much of a newb to know that flying in the day of the cruise escalates the stress level to 11! Flying same day in Feb from Columbus to Chicago then to Houston should have had a 0% chance to work, but it did, and without a hitch actually but we did not get on board until about 3PM)
I'm open for any suggestions of when to have a little meetup, but maybe a quick hello after the muster drill or possibly something on the 1st sea day.
The promenade lounge on deck 3 is a bigger area with tables.
Just a thought.

I'm stealing a gift idea from our last cruise. Someone had rubber wristbands made up for all the members of the cruise meet to wear. That way you could easily identify everyone from our meet from the bright green wristband. I've ordered some this time, and enough for everyone that wants one, not just members of the FEE. I'd like to get them to everyone as soon as possible, so I vote for a meet on embarkation. Hopefully they turn out OK.

Plans are starting to come together and it's starting to feel real now. One of 3 passports arrived yesterday. Hopefully DS' and DW's will be here soon.

We will be in Miami Saturday early (on time plane flights willing) and we were going to head downtown to Bayside for lunch. We make it a point to visit a Hard Rock if we are close to one so my son can get a pin. If anyone wants to meet up for lunch that day, we will be there. I can PM my cell if anyone is truly interested.
Cheers
Jeff

I vote that we split into two groups; we had discussed doing that previously if the group reached 18-20. Personally, I would rather spread my FE budget over a smaller number of people so I can do more for those to whom I'm gifting. As you said, those who would prefer to give something to everyone can still do so.

I've split the group into 2 on the FEE google document. We have several cabins that were pairs. My initial thought was to split the pairs, just to give more unique cabins to each group. I also tried to split floors equally as I thought half the fun was going to every deck.

If you feel that you want to gift to more than your own group, feel free to include some or all of the cabins in the other group too. You can participate in what you feel comfortable with.

We have small gifts that we will be giving to every cabin, but in no way do we expect to get something back from the cabins not in my group.

I have a tendency to overcomplicate things, hopefully I'm not doing that too badly here.

I share that tendency. That's why I'm so glad you volunteered to coordinate the exchange. Lol! Seriously, you've done a fantastic job with this and I'm sure everyone is thankful for your efforts. :cheer2:

I think a split will work out best.

Going to Disneyland tmw! And just booked a weekend at the Grand Californian for Dapper Day! Can't wait! Also just got the boys the cutest Mickey Mouse swim trunks!I'm so ready for this! Now on to my crafty FEE....pixiedust:

Could you please add *bar mitzvah* to the celebrating column for us? Thanks! :goodvibes

I don't see on the document how the groups are split but I'm also not document savvy.

Hmmmmm. I'm not seeing the split either. Can you please explain?

I'm not that familiar with google documents either.

I went to the OP and clicked on the FEE link and the sheet shows the split in columns J and K. 11 cabins are in FEE 1 in column J and 11 are in FEE 2 in column K.

Make sure you are using the correct link. As far as I know the link should take you to the latest version of the sheet.

If the OP link does not work, try this.

Let me know. If it is still a problem I can e-mail you the document.

Hi Everyone,
Just curious if anyone has a child who would like to be a pen pal with my DS. Perhaps they could PM each other through our accounts. DS will be 12 next month so if your child is around his age (boy or girl) and would like to "talk" pre-cruise, just PM me and we can get things started.

I also have a DD who will be 9 this month, but I don't think she is interested in having a pen pal (at least not today).

I am not on the Facebook page so I apologize if this was already discussed.

I have a DS11 who I could probably talk into it. He's a little shy so it would take some prodding. Is your son an older 12 or recently turned? Mine turned 11 in November. They could FaceTime or Skype. Mine also has his own email address.

I'm the admin for the FB page if you want to join.
