Matt -- we are not doing the FE, so you can take us off the list (audrey13). It sounds fun but this is our first cruise and it is overwhelming enough, I think the FE would just stress me out more. Maybe once we have our feet wet on this cruise we will try it on the next one. Thanks for all the info you have posted and the links. Very helpful stuff!

Looks like there are a few new cruisers on this trip. The single greatest advice we got was to bring a plastic over the door shoe hanger with about 16-20 pockets. We hang it over the bathroom door and put all incidentals (makeup,medicine,sunscreen,toothpaste,brushes,etc) in it. Makes a huge difference with clutter in the room and bathroom.

Also......I was wondering what kind of discount they offer you while you are ON the cruise to book another cruise?? Is it worth it?? Anything that I can do to be prepared??

On board booking has definitely been worth it for us. You get a 10% discount and a stateroom credit. Many people actually book dummy cruises so they can use the discount on their next cruise. You still get the discount and credit even if you change your reservation. Plus the deposit the deposit is 10% instead of 20%.

Palo is an up charge restaurant on the Wonder and Magic. While the Main Dining Rooms are included in your fare, there is a $20 per person charge to eat at Palo and you usually have to make reservations beforehand to be able to enjoy the experience. We love it....

Character Breakfast: Since we only have 2 sea days and it's a 5 night cruise, it's very unlikely they will have one. It's possibly we will have the option for a "Tea with Alice", though sometimes they substitute another character instead. It's free, but you do have to sign up upon boarding and they will likely run out the first day.

I neglected to add my daughter is really excited about the number of other girls going around her age. This is the last year for her to go to the Lab. It's actually optional at 11 to go to either the Edge or the Lab...my guess is she'll take a look at the Edge but choose the Lab knowing it's the last. They grow up too fast for me...
