Need to get on my post count too! LOL
I would much prefer some conversation to dining alone, but don't want to risk a zoo at the table!
Well... I guess that leaves my family out!![]()
That sounds like a good idea though. I've only ever travelled as part of a larger group of friends and family; two or three staterooms with between 6 to 12 cruisers in total. We have always had a table to ourselves. This time around there are five of us in one stateroom so should we expect to be seated with others? We have only ever cruised on the Fantasy and Dream and are really looking forward to the smaller ship. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions for first-time Magic passengers?
We just got off of the Dream this morning (B2B 3-night & 4-night DVC Member Cruise). We booked this cruise while on board. The Magic has always been our favorite and we're anxious to see the changes to "our" ship! (Plus, it will make us Platinum before our transAtlantic in September!)We'll also be bringing our DD (19).

Wow!I would LOVE to go on a B2B OR a DVC member cruise, but my work schedule won't allow it since I am a teacher.I have about 8 more years until I retire so maybe then I can look forward to one of those cruises. I know some are thinking well, you have all summer off, you can do a B2B then. Except it would be tough paying the summer time prices for a B2B, and they never offer the member cruise during the summer.
We (my DH, Capttigger and I ) can't wait to try the Magic. It's the only Disney ship we haven't been on. We started off sailing the on the Wonder and fell in love with her. This will be our first time going back to a classic ship after sailing the Wonder 3 times, the Dream 4 times and the Fantasy once....in that order. We are getting excited! I can't wait to experience the smaller ship again. I remember after sailing on the Dream for the first time I said I would rather sail on the Wonder, but then after sailing on the Dream a second time, I kind of got used to her.
I see you are going to become Platinum on this cruise! How exciting! We have to finish 2 more cruises before we become Platinum.
Welcome to the newcomers! Geauxlsutigers, are you guys in Baton Rouge? We have family just north of there who are serious tiger fans, as in season tickets are in the third generation.
