Wow - thanks for the warm replies!![]()
Rebecca - we live in Elk Grove - small world. WISH we could live in SLO...
We are so looking forward to this cruise - and of course meeting all of you. Did WDW (4 days) and DCL (3 days) a year ago, and found the cruise so much fun we decided to skip the land portion this year and just hit the water for the full week.
Question: Last year on the short cruise there was a semi-formal nite but not a "formal" nite. So... how dressy is formal? Do I need to drag along a bejeweled ballgown(as IF I own one!) or will short-but-dressy do?

Welcome!!! You will LOVE the 7 night cruise!!! Formal night will vary greatly for each family. For our last cruise, I wore a "little black dress" and the cruise before I wore a long linen cream colored dress (something you'd wear to a wedding maybe?). That is the dress I'm going to wear this time too. DH is wearing a suit and tie - his court "uniform" when he isn't wearing his actual uniform ::cop:
But it really runs the gamut from very formal ballgowns to very casual. Short but dressy will fit in with no problems!

We fly into Orlando Friday nite, then stay overnite there and head back to the airport in the AM to catch a Disney shuttle over to the port. So, no Grills dinner for us. Boo-hoo!

Any words of wisdom for the computer-impaired?
The joys of being a newbie!
Talk to you all later!
