We just booked this cruise and we are SO EXCITED! We're first time cruisers and have heard so many wonderful things about DCL. Can't wait.

First cruise is always exciting, and you guys are really going all out for your first. It took us 7 cruises before we got to DCL. You're in for a great time.

Are those the ages of your kids now, or when we cruise? Our DD will have just turned 9 when we sail.

Those are their ages now. At cruise time they will be 8 and 6.

Hi everyone!
We just stepped off the Fantasy today and rebooked for this cruise while on board . I will pm my info for the FE list. I will also be signing up for the FB page. We just had an interior room and LOVED it! Due to the darkness, our kids actually slept in and really enjoyed the "magic port hole". We have a verandah room on this next cruise and now I'm second guessing our decision. Do I want a verandah or do I want to sleep in?

Hi Everyone. I have some bad news - our school system sent out an email that the week for our spring break will be different in 2014. So I have had to move our cruise to the 4/5/14 sailing. I am very disappointed to be leaving you all.

I have already compiled a nice start to the FE list but I'll need someone to take it over. It is an excel spreadsheet right now but someone could change that. You don't need to be an excel wiz to use the list I have - it's a very simplistic spreadsheet. All you have to do is maintain the list and then send it out to everyone periodically. Nothing to it!

Someone please let me know so I can pass the torch.

Oh no!

At least it's not a cancellation, and you still get to do a cruise! We'll miss you on this cruise!

If no one else jumps at the opportunity, I'll go ahead and take the FE list from you and keep it updated for now. I'm sure at some point someone will join and volunteer to take it over. You need to get to planning the FE on your new cruise!

Hello Everyone! Just got off the phone with DCL and moved my cruise to this date.

We will be joining in! Our party includes me (Jen), DH (Paul), DD (Emily-17) and DS(Ben-14).

This will be our 4th Disney cruise. We have sailed on the Wonder, the Magic, the Dream and this will complete our experience by sailing on the Fantasy.

I will now be trying to find the group on Facebook but just wanted to get a start on the introductions.

Welcome! So exciting that it is your first cruise! Feel free to ask questions if you have them because there are a lot of us here who have cruised before.

Welcome! You're going to love cruising... especially with Disney!

DH actually stand for "Dear Husband". And of course you have DW, DD, DS, etc. You'll have to learn a little bit of forum speak, but I'll give you a few here to get you started:

DH - Dear Husband
DW - Dear Wife
DD - Dear Daughter
DS - Dear Son

Also ages are usually given as a number after the designation, so DD9 would mean a 9 year old daughter.

MIL - Mother in law
FIL - Father in law
FE - Fish Extender (I hope you guys decide to join)
CM - Cast Member (Disney calls all employees cast members)
GS - Guest Services desk on the cruise ship
