Welcome! So exciting that it is your first cruise! Feel free to ask questions if you have them because there are a lot of us here who have cruised before.

Welcome! You're going to love cruising... especially with Disney!

DH actually stand for "Dear Husband". And of course you have DW, DD, DS, etc. You'll have to learn a little bit of forum speak, but I'll give you a few here to get you started:

DH - Dear Husband
DW - Dear Wife
DD - Dear Daughter
DS - Dear Son

Also ages are usually given as a number after the designation, so DD9 would mean a 9 year old daughter.

MIL - Mother in law
FIL - Father in law
FE - Fish Extender (I hope you guys decide to join)
CM - Cast Member (Disney calls all employees cast members)
GS - Guest Services desk on the cruise ship

On a personal note, and many others will say the same thing, the FE is a great way to build excitement for the cruise, meet people, and creates a fun activity for the kids and adults. We hope you'll join in the fun!

Sorry to say but we are canceling this cruise. Since we have already done this cruise we decided to do a btb on the "new Magic" and get 2 days at CC. I know everyone will have a good time!

This will be our third Disney cruise in 3 years.

DS - Garrett, 13 at time of cruise
DD - Kate, 10 at time of cruise

We will be doing the same itinerary as our January 2013 cruise, because that is when the dates were the best for us. We had a blast and are looking forward to it again!
