Hey everybody,

Does anyone know if we are allowed to bring Easter candy onboard? I'm talking about unopened commercially packaged treats to put in an Easter basket. I know we can order baskets, but I want to bring a small basket and fill it with dd's favorites. I also thought of making a basket for our room steward.

Is anyone going to bring plastic eggs to hide in their stateroom for Easter? Yeah, yeah, I know my daughter is 16, but old habits die hard.

Eggs for the stateroom----GOOD IDEA !!!!! We could bring a few and hide them on Sat night. The kids will be so tired by then, we could probably put them under their pillows.

Do you think the stateroom hosts would be allowed to accept something like that? Are their rules for that? I bet they might like somethings that they couldn't get on the ship----hhmmmm.

Anyone else have any good ideas?

Good news, almost great news. Our documents are in but I found out too late to pick them up today. I will try to get them tomorrow. It is getting so close.

We did just book another excursion....I'm trying to be brave. We booked swimming with the stingrays!!!!! I'm excited but also a little scared. Everyone raves about it so I thought it would be a good experience. Have a good day and congrats on your docs!!!

Today I went to get the documents and there are a few issues. My son's name is spelled wrong so the TA is looking into it and the transfers are a bit messed up. Everything will get worked out. My DS and I went looking for a jacket for him to wear to dinner, this is not going to be easy. I don't want to spend a fortune but he is almost too big for kids sizes and the adult sizes looked like dresses. The search shall continue.

Good luck with the jacket search!!! Hopefully they can fix your docs soon and easily! At least you have them and have time to get them fixed. Let us know what happens.

We had success finding a jacket for DS and at a great price because of the sales this weekend. Another step closer.

We got our package on Friday afternoon. I think it came UPS -- I was surprised because it seemed like others were getting their delivery by USPS. It's so exciting to be "official"!

We also booked a sting ray excursion with Capt. Bryan's. We couldn't decide between Disney/Capt. Marvin's or Capt Bryan's, but the timing seemed the best with this particular option.

I have also been busy shopping -- ordered new swimsuits for the kids, and new water shoes for everyone in the family! Oh, and I picked up a new suitcase yesterday at Tuesday Morning - a HUGE rolling one that was only $30! It is big enough that we could pack one of the kids in it to save on airfare -- only kidding!!! When I told them that, they gave me the funniest look, like "Is she kidding or is she not???" LOL!

What time is your Captain Bryan's trip? We also booked with them at 10:30 on their bucanneer catamaran. I think Poohluver booked with them too. I don't know if we are all on the same one.



I can't believe the countdown clock is getting closer! It will be great to meet everyone and have a relaxing vacation.

What time is your Captain Bryan's trip? .

Ours is earlier, and we are the other boat -- the Hannibal? We did the short trip. Darn! That would have been fun if we were going together.

I am hoping that we still have some time to hang around in Grand Cayman, to shop or go to the beach on our own or something.

Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I bought my over the door shoe hanger thing eveyone raves about and an underwater camera for the dolphins and the stingrays!!! Has anyone called Shirley yet??? Hi everyone.

Just 28 days until we leave for WDW!!! Yeah!!!!

I tried to make some additional PS for our trip on Monday and there were no good times left. Maybe I can lose some weight then.

I have lost 6 pounds so far and I'm hoping to lose another 6 or so before we go.

For those lucky people who have received your docs, what time does it say we leave Key West. I have the sunset cruise and I was curious.

The docs say we leave at 7:30 pm. I found a link with the sunrise/sunset times for 2005, and it says that on March 27th, the sun sets at 6:41 pm.

E&B Mom, did you happen to call Shirley's yet? I need to call as well but was wondering if we order something for Easter does it get sent to the room on Saturday or can I get DCL to hold it so I can surprise DS on Sunday morning. (I hope no little eyes are reading this ) We got a surprise with our documents. AAA gives a $150 ship board credit and a few discount things. Good job on all the weight lose, I am now official down 11 pounds.

I called Shirley on Wed. and she said she needed another week for Easter orders. It was sneaking up on her. I asked her the same question about holding things until Sun morning. She has a friend in housekeeping on the ship and is checking with him. I'm hoping they can. I don't want to spoil the "magic" by getting the baskets a day early.

poohlover.....Baileyevanh is on top of it for us!!!!!! I put her on my calendar for next week. That is great about your 11 lbs. It makes mw work even harder when I hear how well you guys are doing!! Ok is anyone else bummed about the coutdown timer?????? I thank them for keeping us safe, but I am still sad I can't see my timer. It also snowed here last night. I am so ready for the cruise!!
