Thanks for sharing the great picture. I can hardly wait to get to CC! :goodvibes

You're very welcome, pooh luver! :D

Well, we got through the holidays, so now we can REALLY start thinking about our cruise. How is everyone doing with excursions? I found it a lot easier to choose excursions for our Eastern in 2003, than the Western. We are doing Key West on our own. I did manage to book one of the beach excursions for Grand Cayman. I had heard Disney stopped booking beach excursions to GC for a while there, but it looks like they have started up again to include our dates. :Pinkbounc

We are on the Easter Cruise DH,myself,DD11,DS71/2 and was wondering if anyone knew if they do anything for Easter on the ship???? Like a hunt or something?

Welcome E&B MOM !! I was wondering the same thing! I've heard they sell Eater baskets on board. Hey, we have the same age children! We have a DD who is 10 1/2 and a DS who is also 7 1/2. Do you plan on trying to move your son up to the 8-9 group or keep him at the 5-7 group. My son is in second grade and would rather be with his grage level. :grouphug:

We decided to do Key West and Cozumel on our own. For Grand Cayman we are doing Sting Ray City with Captain Byrons on their Catamaran. Sounds like it should be fun. Booked parasailing for DH and DS in the morning (I don't do heights) and the waverunner for myself and DS in the afternoon. I am looking forward to a bit of sun shine because it has been raining off and on, more on, for about a week and more is to come. :flower1:

pooh luver,
We have booked Captain Bryans also on the catamaran. It looks like alot of fun. It will be DH, me, DD10, and DS7. We plan on doing Cozumel on our own too. We might try Paradise beach.
Does anyone know if anything will be open in Key West since it is Easter Sunday? We were planning on doing it on our own, but what happens if there is nothing open?

Hi Everyone!

I posted last fall, but never got a response. We're sailing on the 3/26/05 Easter Western cruise and are SO excited!

It's me, dh, and our dd twins, who will be just days away from turning 10. It is going to be a surprise for them. We are hoping to tell them when they bring home honor roll report cards in February (which remains to be seen, eek!) If they don't make honor roll, we will have to come up with some other sort of incentive to reward them. Frankly, we are going anyway!

We are starting to think about excursions and don't really know what to do. I don't think my girls would have much interest in Key West; I think they will love the clubs -- they are very social. When we go on vacation to Smugglers Notch, they love being in the camps and meeting other kids. But I would love to hear more about your choices for excursions in the other ports.

It' so exciting to finally think, "We're going on a Disney cruise THIS year!" It's only a few weeks away. Speaking of which, can someone tell me how to get a countdown thingie?

Thanks!

Hey PPFQP, Welcome aboard! :)

About Key West on Easter Sunday... I too wondered if everything will be open. I have heard that Shirley, at the Perfect Gift, does beautiful Easter baskets that can be delivered to the ship. :flower1:

'Cause you'll be getting on as I get off that morning, after doing the 3/19 Eastern. Those grooves in the floor on Deck 3 will be from my fingernails as they drag me off (probably some very well-worn grooves).

Have fun!!!

 Just save some molten chocolate lava cake for us! That's my only request.

I looked into the Catamaran after you mentioned it on the boards and decided it would be great fun. We are either going to Chantukaab (sp) or Paradise Beach on Cozemel, maybe both.

It is fun to see so many others now joining us! :cool1:

Hi everyone.

My son and I just booked. Nothing like waiting until the last minute.

We have no idea about excursions. How quickly will they fill up??

I'm SOOOOOOO excited.

Welcome to the Easter cruise. We just booked our excursions last week. We are doing the Dolphin thing in Cozmel and it wasn't booked yet. I'm not sure how fast they book up though. Good luck and hope to see you on the cruise!!! :flower1: :D :boat:

Hi Easter Magic cruisers! We are getting closer.... I have been starting to make lists and nail down details as far as excursions and dining options.

We still haven't told our kids. We will probably do so next month. Maybe Valentine's Day!

Just wanted to check in and say hi!

Hey this is Kathy or kathyandtyler.

This thread is so quiet maybe the ship won't be too packed.

I've got my excursions booked and I'm now working on loosing the 10 pounds that I'll gain on the cruise. HAHA :rotfl2:

This is our first Disney cruise. We've cruised Princess and Royal Carribean in the past. We are both excited.

We plan to go to WDW for two days before the cruise and if I can talk my boss into it we may even go down 3 days early.

What are everyone else's plans??

HI Kathy --

Yes, I'm surprised the thread is so quiet as well! Good to hear from you.

We are not doing any Disney time before or after. It's our Spring Break from school, and the 7 days is all we can take. Have to be back for dd's piano recital on April 3rd.

We're getting so excited. Right now I am just bursting to tell our kids. I don't think I can stand it. They tried on their formal dresses last night (they think that we bought them for a Valentine's Day party, hee hee!) and I was just grinning from ear to ear. We are trying to hold off until Friday, when report cards come home.

I think it is so cool that you've managed to keep it a secret. Our schools have off good Friday and we're taking 2 extra days before to have some WDW time.

I hope the weather is good. I could use some sunshine!!!

Take Care!
