Bubbles are really good for the sail away party! They even have a bubble machine...but we brought our own last time!

Bubbles are a good idea.. of couse my boys will be too busy stuffing their faces with pizza and ice cream to think about bubbles. Do we want to meet on Deck 10 above the sail away party for a DIS bubble blowing meet?

List of DISers on the cruise - if you are interested, pm me with your info and I will include it one the list. I am thinking of:

Geffric Family - cabin 5020 , DW, DH, DS14 ( turning 15 on cruise) , DS12 - late sitting for dinner.

The wrist bands.. I think if we decide what we want them to say and then order them together is one way or just decide what we want the band to say and order them individually?

I like "Magic 3/25/06 Cruise" like Minnie328 and mickeyworld suggested. What do you think?

mickeyworld - glad you reminded me about the underwater cameras, I am thinking one for each of us. Plus I need to check on the CF cards for my digital camera and make sure that I have enough mgs. I am bringing zip lock bags for snacks/sandwiches to take with us from the ship on the excursions and a soft side cooler. We are thinking we will save money if we stop on the way to the ship and buy bottled water foe them too.

The plan for a sailaway party bubble meet sounds like a great idea! And I concur with you, Minnie328, and mickeyworld on "Magic 3/25/06 Cruise" for the wrist bands. Where is the best place to order them? At the site you mentioned a few posts ago? That site requires ordering in multiples of 20, which I guess would make it a little hard for each family to order on its own. Maybe one of us would order them and collect from others who were interested before or after the cruise, and then pass them out at the meet? Are we still thinking of lime green?

Sorry for the novice questions.... :goofy:

I read on the wristband site that the debossing on the neon green bands harder to read than on the other colors... :confused:

Should we order the neon green or decide on another color?? We could always order the neon green and pay 25 cents extra for the "color fill" option.... :rolleyes2

We are booking again with Eagle Ray Divers, but this time instead of snorkeling, 3 of us (DD16, DS14, me) are doing scuba while DW and DD% snorkel nearby.

We are going to Paradise BEach and laying around. We are not much on paid excursions, I do alot of reading about the ports, then do most of them on our own. Key West is the conch train, sloppy joes and a good wander around until the sunset celebration, and Grand Caymen??? not sure yet. I am the only snorkler and NO ONE wants to touch a stingray but me- think I 'll try that at Castaway Cay if the weather is nice. Mostly, we look at the city, find a great beach and place to snack and RELAX. :fish:

I have been wondering what type of lead time do we need for ordering the wristbands. Shall we do 1 lump order and then everyone can pay when we meet at the DIS meet?

Or maybe just all go to Home Depot and get the lime green mickey head paint samples and make bracelets or decorate our doors/daybags/kids? :rotfl2:

The boys are at scouts and I shlould be cleaning , but here I sit... just dreaming about the cruise...

The reminderband.com site says they should take about two weeks. You can put me, DW, and DD12 down for three, in whatever color you decide is best. They have neon green, but we're cool with any color. We can then pay you back at the DIS meet, right before the bubbles begin! :ccat:

As self-appointed Cozumel update person on this trip, I regret to tell you that the 2/25 Magic has also switched from Coz to Costa Maya... I think the odds we are going to Coz has dropped just below 50/50.... We were so looking forward to getting back there... but hey we are still going to be on the Magic with all of you... :Pinkbounc
