It was too hot and too wet and too expensive when we went 3/23 to 4/7!! What is a better time to go?? Say when the temp is more spring like, say 72 to 78 degrees, with the least humidity???

We went Feb 8-17, right before President's day. The weather was wonderful: warm and sunny during the day, cool and breezy during the evenings. It actually became unseasonably warm towards the end of our stay, and it could just have easily become unseasonably cool. We packed a little of everything and wore most of it (minus hats and gloves). It was still value season and the crowds were very light. We didn't fully appreciate how great we had it until the end of our stay when the crowds more than doubled, the temp rose to the mid-80s, and the "chanters" arrived. The only minus was taking the kids out of school.

I hate to tell you this but it hasn't been hot yet this spring. I was in No Florida on the 23rd of March and went through Orlando to get there. We were wearing jackets.
Humidity is just a fact of life in Florida.
Coolest times would be from mid November through March.
Btw I has been unseasonably cool this year.

The weather in early december (value season) was very comfortable. It was 70's-80's during the day and upper 50's-60"s at night.

We forgot to bring shorts.... otherwise we were comfortable in jeans with a t-shirt during the day and a sweatshirt at night.

WE WENT IN NOVEMBER 1995 - IT WAS FREEEEEZING

WE WERE TOLD IT WAS UNUSUAL FOR THE TIME OF YEAR - ABOUT 17 DEGREES!!

WE HAD TO GO OUT AND BUY JEANS, SWEATSHIRTS AND ANYTHING THICK TO WEAR

WE COME FROM BIRMINGHAM UK = LUCKILY MY DD WAS WEARING A THICK COAT SO SHE DIDNT FEEL A THING

ALL I CAN SAY IS WHATEVER TIME OF YEAR YOU GO (I THINK EXCLUDING JULY/AUG/SEPT!!) YOU SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR ANYTHING!!

BY THE WAY WE STILL HAD A GOOD TIME (HOLIDAY INN MAINGATE - OFF SITE BUT A GOOD HOTEL)
