This will be our first Disney cruise. My wife is now freaking out that we will not have early seating. We book this past April and all they had was Late seating. There is no way my 4 and 7 year old will make it to late seating. I was going to cancel our other reservation on the Allure of the Seas today, but now we may not, because my wife wants to make sure we have early seating on Fantasy. What has been people's experience with having early seating clear early?

I'm not sure what you are asking. Are you on the wait list for early seating? Seating charts are done two weeks before the cruise date, so it could be then before you get confirmation that you have been switched. It could happen earlier though, there isn't a definite timeframe for it to happen. If it doesn't, you can go to dining changes and request it after you board. Have you heard about the dine and play program? In second seating they serve the kids early and the club counselors come to the MDRs and pick up the kids who want to go to the club for the rest of dinner. FWIW, the servers tend to bring kids' meals earlier for early dining as well, you just drop the kids at the club yourself before getting your entree.

I looked at the San Juan excursions earlier this week and nothing really jumped out at me but that's ok. We will probably just explore San Juan on our own because the only other time we have cruised there the weather was horrible and we ended up spending the day on the ship.

We are going to WDW in December and we had just been talking about how we would like to go on another cruise. There wasn't much to choose from for the sail dates during the week my kids are off school.

This cruise has been sold out off and on for several months. You might have luck looking for two rooms instead of one. It seems to be an issue with muster station capacity if looking for more than three people.

The pay in full date is the beginning of January, cabins often open up then. Especially when Christmas bills start to come in The biggest problem then is airfare which is already really high for those weeks.

We have 2 family connecting doubles, because no quads were available. I look everyday to see if any quads open. The problem is, if the quad comes available, i think I pay the current price on the cabin. Does anyone know if that is correct?

Also booked our airfare last week. My dad has a winter home in Delray Beach, so we are flying into Fort Lauderdale on Thursday and then drive up on Saturday morning. We got an amazing deal. 250 round trip ine American.

Just got back this Monday from Alaska and my DS-12 did nothing in the kids clubs, but.. my DD - 15 was hardly seen by us. Breakfast, dinner and shore excursions. She LOVED her time with the teens on the ship.

You would transfer your reservation for one of the rooms to the new category at the price that was locked in at the time you booked the cruise originally. You will add the two guests at the current rate. I could upgrade to a cat 4 if they open up and would pay the rate that was the day I booked, even when the prices were crazy low. If you look online at your reservation and go to change category, you will see the price that you would pay for it with the two guests.

My son was 13 in March and spent a lot of time at the Edge. He did the same last January & July at 12. He has always enjoyed the clubs and is looking forward to going to the Vibe for the first time this cruise.

Hello Everyone.

We booked this cruise just a little while ago and I am just now getting around to looking at the thread. I have read through all 19 pages and man, it looks like there is going to be a great group on this one.

My name is Jeffrey and joining me on this cruise will be my beautiful wife Danielle, our daughter Elizabeth who will be 3, our daughter Mackenzie who will be 22 months, and our son William who will be 22 months as well. Also, my parents will be joining us.

We have been on several Disney cruises, including the maiden voyage of the Fantasy, hello again Lisa! I cannot tell you how excited we are for this cruise.
