Happy Friday everyone. Hope everyone has something great planned for the weekend.

Dianne, have a wonderful time at the wedding. Relax and enjoy!

Mary/Mark, I mentioned the bbq to hubby and he thought it sounded great. Ray, Barb, Viky, hubby & I are hitting Kennedy Space Center on Wednesday, but if back in time, would love to join in the festivities!

It does sound like a great idea.....

Good Evening, I have posted pic's of the wedding on facebook, I hope everyone has acess to it. It is so much easier to post photos there.

Everything went great, I am also sharing others photos off my site.

And my when you see a bat in the photos, It belongs to Albert Pujols. A good time was had by all, all the extra little touches were wonderful and the food was not the normal wedding recepion food. jerk beef on a stick, some type of breaded chicken with a wonderful sauce, pork chop, ceasar salad, rolls etc. They also provided DGD a special dinner of mac and cheese, and a plate of fruit, so she could also enjoy the evening.

the wedding cake held up by bats, beautiful, with two different types of cake, and cupcakes that were safe for DGD to eat.

They did not do, the duck dance, no hokey pokey, did not thow the bouquet of flowers, did not toss the garter.

The vows were expressed compliments of Dr Suess, I need to see if I can find a copy of that. All very different.

We drank and drank (open Bar) and danced and danced.

DS thought of everything, even set up a babysitter to stay with the grandchildren, so daughter, and her husband, could bring them back to the hotel after dinner. Then they came back to the party.

Wow what a day!:goodvibes

Good Morning.

Good Morning everyone.

Extreme makeover update..."Move that Bus" arrived and held up traffic. People slowed down to look. The home is being built for a woman who has a soup kitchen.

Below is one of the news articles:

LEWES, Del. - The founder of Jusst Sooup Ministry Inc. will receive a million-dollar home courtesy of a national television show.

The crew of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" made its way Monday morning to the current Rehoboth Beach facility of Jusst Sooup to surprise founder Dale Dunning.

Dunning said, "For me, it's going to be absolutely wonderful, and I know my 'soupers' are going to be absolutely overjoyed."

The community has rallied behind the cause, and numerous volunteers will help with construction efforts.

Local builder Chris Schell donated land in Lewes off Route 9 to Dunning in December. Now that property will become the site of, as show producers describe it, "more than a home."

The reveal of the completed house will take place Aug. 29.

The build is not far from where we live....about 4 miles. A friend of Michaels was asked by the Makeover team if they could use his land to set up a place to feed the crew.

Going to be a nice day here. The windows will be open. Have a great day and take care....:flower3:

That is awesome, they did one here about 2 years ago for a man that ran a little coffe shop, and used all Handicap workers, they did his home and the coffee shop, so the workers could move around easier inside. nice experience

Good Morning Fellow Cruisers!!!

Well I made some changes to our reservations at OKW and we now have a Grand Villa, and Julie and Joe will be staying with Gary, Gail, Tanya and I!!!

We plan on golfing Wed morning and have 3 so far, anyone interested, or their spouses?

Back to a subject we have talked about....the Cabanas. I have names of 14 people interested, I think we should try and get 2 Cabanas and split it up that way. I know we can't make advance reservations, but we should get 2 people to go early and make those reservations as soon as they board if possible. Let me know what everyone thinks, if we all agree we can still get 6 more people for the Cabanas. :confused3:thumbsup2

Gail and I are in! Looks like a good time. Where can you get info on the optional food and drink packages?

Here is what I found today:

Private Beach Cabanas

4/15/11 - The private cabanas can now be booked online.
Castaway Cay offers guests the luxury of renting one of 20 private cabanas. These 325-square-foot cabanas are divided between Castaway Family Beach and Serenity Bay Beach. On the family beach, the cabanas are located on the far side of the beach, offering a little more seclusion, along with a great view of the ship from the cabana's front deck.

Cabanas are furnished with cushioned chairs, chaise lounges, side tables and a dining table. Also included are a refrigerator, lockable storage unit, outside fresh water shower and a shaded deck. When you rent a beach cabana, you will receive non-alcoholic beverages, suntan lotion and towels. Other packages with special services, food and beverage options are available. For an additional fee, guests can also reserve the services of a private cabana host.

Cabanas can be reserved online ahead of time or at the Port Adventures desk while onboard the ship. They will hold a maximum of 6 guests and can be rented for $499 per day.

So things have already changed how we go about booking a cabana. They have also changed the price and amount of people. At 6 people per cabana and 14 people interested might pose a problem trying for 3 :headache::confused3 all we can do is try when they open the booking online.

Interesting to read some of the threads about the Hurricane. Glad we don't have that risk in March!
