March 21, 2009 Western Magic

Tinkbellfan: Many thanks for the welcome. It's most appreciated.

This will actually be our 13th Disney cruise but prefer to call it our "second 12th", what with the reputation #13 has!

The week you'll be here at WDW I expect to be working only on Sun., Mar. 15, but certainly hope we'll get to meet while on board the beautiful Magic.

If you have any questions about Epcot please let me know and l'll do my best to answer them.

Best wishes.

Good Evening.
Welcome Otimon.

The friday before the cruise, we will be at AKL. Will probably just relax in the lodge.

iloveokw - We will be at the front gates at 8:45am. I'll try to post a picture of me. I have to find a flattering one first!

Otimon - I hope you can make it to the Dis-meet up before the safety drill. I love Epcot and so does dd(9). We actually just planned our next trip for her birthday on December 16th and she wants to spend the day at Epcot. I think it has something to do with the gift card and shopping in the Japan Pavilion (Pokemon/Backugon).

Bobandlee - we are actually having dinner at Boma Friday night (6pm). All ten of us!

A few years ago, but I haven't changed . . much!

Since we are posting pics, here I am last fall during the 5 night cruise...

Wow those pics sure make me hate the snow we got last night even more.

:lmao:

We won't be at the gates for opening cuz we fly in that a.m. But I will be looking for you! :thumbsup2

Tinkbellfan: Will look forward to attending the DIS meet. Is it still planned for Deck 10 around 3:00PM? Any idea at this point how many will be there?

Delighted to hear you and your daughter enjoy Epcot and that she chose to be at Epcot for her next birthday. You'd be surprised at the number of children who tell me themselves that Epcot is their favorite park. What's her favorite ride there?

BobandLee: What a wonderful way to spend the night before the cruise.

Wishing all of you a safe journey to Orlando.

Otimon - meet is deck 10 starboard at 3:00pm. I'm thinking we should expect to see around 25 people. Just a guess.

Test Track is her favorite ride at Epcot with Soarin' a close second. She is not a Mission Space kinda gal and neither is her mother. Too enclosed. Her favorite person in Epcot is Ilham, the lead bellydancer for Mo'rockin (sp?) in Morocco. We missed her last time so I hope she is still with the group. She always makes my dd feel special.

Iloveokw - we should be there most of the day, but we do have to make it to our ressie at Boma that night. Can't miss that. We have to practice eating before the cruise starts.

Bobandlee - looks like alot of fun at the "big kids" beach. Are you ready to hang with the kiddies this year at Castaway! Which ones are you?

Hi

We will be at the meet. Very much looking forward to meeting everyone.

I'm very envious. How I wish we could spend a day or to at the parks. I hope everyone has a great time prior to the cruise and safe journeys to everyone.

Nicole

Tinkbellfan: Thank you for confirming the DIS meet location.

How wonderful your daughter's favorite ride at Epcot is Test Track because that's where I work! Began there the week Test Track opened back in March, 1999 and am still there today. Took the last 3 years out to be the Future World Super Greeter at Epcot, but recently went back to Test Track as the Greeter position was phased out.

Looking forward to meeting another Test Track fan.

Looking forward to meeting another Test Track fan.

:car: Be prepared for the blow by blow on how "cool" it is, including sound effects and arms thrown in the air. Then she will continue on about how I "FORCED" her (Never) to ride when she was tall enough and how she cried at the end . . . . only to really want to try again the next time we were at Epcot! I do remember the white faced kid saying "M O M M Y T O O F A S T".

Not to far (Aurora) - we live in Lake in the Hills/Crystal Lake.

I did it - pulled the shorts out yesterday. I know, too early, but I needed some inspiration.pixiedust:

huntbrown: Glad to meet you. We sold our home in Crystal Lake 11 years ago, having lived there for 8 years, and moved to the Skyridge Apts. in Lake in the Hills for 3 1/2 months while our home was being built in Fla.
I know how you feel!

Best wishes for a warm and wonderful cruise.

We lived in Crystal Lake for a few years as well, although I blew my chance to live in Florida so instead of living in Lake in the Hills for only 3 months, it's been five years and probably will be the next 20.:rotfl:

Good Morning Everyone.
I thought this thread would pick up a bit since we only have

WEEKS TO GO

Oh, well. The weather here this morning is great. :sunny:
Maybe get the shorts out. Well, the ones that fit.:rotfl2:

Tinkbellfan, I hope you weren't laughing at the grass skirts.
The Grass Skirt Fraternity is serious business.:rolleyes1
Growing Older and Not Up.:thumbsup2

Enjoy your weekend. :wave2:

Nice here, too. The snow is all gone, don't care to see any more thank you very much. Made Mike get out the grill and cook a bunch of stuff for this weekend.

Glad we weren't crusing or doing WDW this past week, I think it was pretty chilly.

Everyone have a great week.
