*March 2025 Check-in Thread*

We will be there March 11-15 and staying at CGH for the first time :) It is a late b-day trip for me since we couldn't go down in February. We have reservations for Blue Bayou for the first time as well as doing the fantasmic dinner package at Riverbelle. Bummed out that Storytellers will be closed but we will just have to do that on a different trip I guess. We will also be visiting Legoland for the first time the week after.
Happy Belated Birthday! And have fun at Legoland. We have been to both Florida and California and loved them. How old are your kids? (I'm assuming you are taking little ones.!)

Thanks, my bday is actually next week so hasn't happened yet but will celebrate it at Disney lol. My kids are 3 and 7 and they both love legos. Now I am just hoping they get approved for DAS again with all the changes they've made to it since our last trip.

March 9-14... was hoping this was right before Spring Break crowds but I guess not... here's to super crowded park yay!
Those of us that live in warmer states have super early Spring Break. My sister lives in CT and her kids don't have Spring Break until mid April!

We went in March and it wasn’t that bad imo. It’s busy but it’s not as busy as Halloween season. And it’s not hot af lol!

Do you think it is weather or that some schools break a certain number of weeks into the semester? I would think having a spring break in the 2nd or 3rd week of April would be tough on kids taking AP exams.

The UCs have their spring break the week of March 24. Twenty one of the twenty three CSUs have their spring break in March. Bakersfield & Fresno are in April, but they aren't exactly local to Disneyland. Chapman, which is right around the corner from Disneyland, also has spring break the week of March 24. USC is the week of March 16.

We will be there March 13-17 with our group of 10. We will be staying at the Desert Inn for a quick walk over and flexibility for anyone that wants to go back and forth throughout the day.
Some plans we have reserved so far:
Our 2 granddaughters for Bibbidi Bobbidi boutique.
Fantasmic dinning package for Rancho del Zocolo
Plaza Inn Character Breakfast
We usually fly but this time we are renting a 12 passenger van (7 hour drive) so here's hoping we still all like each other by the time we arrive lol.

A 7-hour drive followed by a Disney vacation?! You are brave. :)

We are from Utah and ours isnt until beginning of April.
Spring breaks are so weird. Our best friends live one town over, it's 10 minutes away. Our spring breaks are not the same this year. Ours is March 31st to April 4th. Theirs is that next week. We are in Washington. This is the first time the kids haven't had the same spring break since they started school 7 years ago.

Is anyone else annoyed the event calendar isn't updated beyond 3/15. Just me?
I almost missed making reservations for the WoC dessert party because WoC wasn't showing up on the park calendar. If a dining event is open for reservations, then it should also show up in the regular calendar.

Yeah. I was mostly looking for hours, ride closures and fireworks. Sad we'll miss Guardians. But my kids will finally get to do Redwood Creek Challenge.

Canadian here, our kid has spring break for two weeks, March 17-28th. It looks like based on the events calendar, we have a popular spring break time. Allllll the events are on during the first week, Fireworks, Fantasmic, 2 WOC shows.

I am pretty sure we're still going March 18-20, but it is up in the air due to the current US-CA relations. We haven't bought tickets yet or anything non-cancellable so we'll probably make a last minute decision. But if we're there we're staying at HOJO.

I'm looking forward to setting my daughter free there too! I've learned giving her a good long stretch to run around is required even if Disney is all fun all the time :)

Toontown is another good spot for running around. It is just a little more busy so you need to keep an eye on your kid.
