Hello

just wondering if any one could tell me about weather and crowds in march? I am thinking of going the 3rd March till the 17th! I have checked and Easter isn't till April 6 (good Friday) as guess that would make a difference!

American's have 'Spring Break' between early March & mid April so WDW can be pretty crowded, but it's quite unpredicatable as far as i'm aware. But it won't be as busy as it is in the summer though! It's a hit & miss.

The weather in March is 'just about right' i'd say, not too hot & not too cool, but again you can never 100% predict it. You might need a thin jumper for the night as it can get a bit nippy. There's always a chance of a cold front during March, though.

:)

As the previous poster says, this will be primetime for Spring Break. This tends to mean lots of groups of teenagers in exuberant mood. They can be a bit wearing!

Thanks guys the length of ques for the big rides wont bother us as we are hoping to go for our daughters 1st birthday! It is more the shows, parades and characters is what we will be doing! Want to introduce her to Disney ASAP lol also I miss it so much! We will be staying off site in a villa so wont have to worry about hotel being busy etc

Hi Tinks! We went to WDW in March/April 2007 and it was very busy! Very long queues for rides and the parades and fireworks were also very busy! The queues for meeting the characters were not too bad actually, we had 3 children with our party who do not like to queue and we had loads of photos of them with all of the different characters so if I remember rightly, the queues for them must have been ok! The weather was lovely though but we did find it busy!

Didnt take away from the fact that we had an amazing Disney holiday! :lovestruc

We went in the first two weeks of March in 2009. Spring break and the UK Half term were on but it didn't make the parks super busy and with Fastpass we got on all the rides we wanted to.

But the weather was a bit crazy, first day at WDW we all had to wear jeans and jackets as it was cold and wet but a couple of days later it was back to shorts and T Shirts. :yay:

The Pic on my Avatar and my Banner are both from that March trip :)

Hi Leanne,

Our recent trip was over March/April but as you know Easter was a lot later this year, so we were a few weeks before the actualy Easter holiday.

Parks wwere very crowded most days, but early mornings were copable.

Weather was boiling hot some days, torrential rain others, even a tornado for luck! Lol.

Our enxt trip will be back during Sept/Oct, as lovely as it would be for Elsie's birthday I'd advising waiting for the quieter time is you can be patient enough, lol!

Thanks every one may have to think of a different time to go then! this would be my 11th trip but never been early in year earliest I been was may I love october time!

I think we will wait till October being that little bit older might benefit us as well!
