Call the car rental company directly and tell them what the situation is. I did this for Xmas week last year when our flights changed and the new rate jumped $300 plus. Dollar was extremely helpful. Let us know how you make out. Good luck.

Thanks. I have tried that. That's where they told me about the price increase. I figure it could be like Disney and if you call back you might get someone to work with you. I'm not too worked up though. We were only renting because it was cheaper than getting a car service. At this point a car service would work fine as well. We won't really be going anywhere when we are there and can use the hotel shuttle or get a taxi (going to Universal). I'm thinking we will eat at CityWalk most of the time and be at the parks the bulk of the time. Quick weekend getaway. Thanks again.

Anyone get a good deal on a rental car for March yet? Is it too early. I can't remember when I booked my Mar 2009 rental , we drove the last two years. Any info would help...Thanks

I see you are from Ontario like myself and Budget seems to have deals for CAN residents on Budget.ca or travelocity.ca. You don't need to enter any discount code but can use E-Coupon MUWZ023 for $25 off. Not sure what size vehicle you are looking for but for your dates a full size is $176.50 inc taxes after $25 coupon is applied when return vehicle.

The coupon is from carrentalsavers and if it indicates coupon applies when booking then you have nothing to worry about. No paper is required.

most of the coupons expire end of this year
The only one I found was BCD X474200 and the MUWZ023 but the last one doesn't work for us as it states minimum rental 5 days & we are there for 4 nights.

I just booked March 21-29, 2012 with Dollar. I was able to call them directly and get a upgrade to a chevy Tahoe for 7 people. The cost was with all taxes $449.00. I've been trying expedia and others, and the best I ever got was $744.00. I will be calling directly from now on. Good luck all.

There is no paper coupon it is all electronic. If it accepts the code at booking you have nothing to worry about. That one is from costco and they never ask for membership so no worries.

I'm just starting to look for a rental 4 nights 3/15-3/19/12... I always rent from Alamo at the Dolphin... This time I decided to rent from MCO still with Alamo.. i put in the info and what pops up... a convertible for way less than a compact total $294.23!! I booked that and now will watch for codes. I just returned from 10 nights had a rental the whole time from Alamo at the Dolphin... when I arrived they didn't have my class so I was 2x upgraded and got 50% off the pay in advance fill up!! Was a very good deal. So book now and stalk the sites daily... they do go down!!

My rate dropped again!!! $10 but hey $10 is $10!!! If I pick up at 9 or 10 it's $10 more, but picking up at 9:30 it's $10 less!! 9:30 for $10 please!!
