March 2012 Code Watch

I'm hoping for the last week in March.:goodvibes Around here, the districts vary with all the weeks in March it seems like. Easter is April 8th next year...some schools do their Spring Break around Easter.

Also, I've been the last two times during Thanksgiving. So I'm thinking that since Spring Breaks are spread out and Thanksgiving is the same for everyone, March will seem great to me crowd wise...right??:lmao:

We are going from 2/25 - 3/4 , really would love to see a 40% Code, but hoping any good discount comes out

We're booked for 2/28-3/6. I know that if a deal were to end at the end of February, we could apply it to our entire vacation. But, if a deal were to start at the beginning of March, could we do the same? Or, would it just apply to the March part of our vacation? Of course, this may not even be an issue because it looks like most past deals ran from February until the beginning of April (I think). So, it would encompass all of our dates anyway.

It is my understanding that free dining promotions are based on date of check in. But room discounts are based on the actual date, and cannot be applies for a whole vacation, unless the whole vacation falls within the promotional window.

How about PINs? I seem to remember using a pin last year that ended on the first day of our vacation and being able to apply it to our entire vacation. But, I could be mistaken.

I was looking on the discount history link, and since 2008, there did not seem to be alot of discounts for March. And, in the last couple of years, it did not have any for march listed. Is this pretty accurate?

I've booked our first Disney Cruise for March 9-12, but we will fly down March 2nd. I think we may have to stay off site for 3 nights, then on site for 3 nights to help with the cost! This trip is costing mega $$ for us, so would absolutely love to stay on site for 6 nights:thumbsup2

Joining in as we are waiting for work to announce the conference dates and locations. Last year powerschool U was at the Swan late Feb/March. I called and they said they would announce the dates and location in Dec.

We plan on bringing a friend and looking to put them at a value for the first part and then a DVC to use up my banked points the last part.

Having a discount would be wonderful the value. After looking at the prices for 2012, my DVC is finally a great value.

Our Spring Break is the last week in March. I'm looking forward to warmer weather and longer park hours than our first trip to WDW (we went the first week of February, 2010). Does anyone know what kind of codes or offers were available for March of this year? I'm not sure we'll be able to go without some kind of discount. :goodvibes

We were there March 26-April 2 this year. The discount we used was 25% off room only (we added DDP and tickets) at the Poly. I believe the discount was as follows: 35% for Villas and most Deluxes, 25% for Poly, AKL and Moderates and 20%(??) for Values? Something like that.

We are going Mar 9-19...Hoping for the 20% value discount that they had this year...It would beat the 10% AAA dicsount I currently have. My DD is dancing at Disney:cool1:

We will be renewing our vows (aka the wedding we never got to have) @ the Swan at the end of March and we're hoping to stay for a week or if they have a good discount going maybe 10 days. Thanks for starting this thread!

Is anyone else a FL resident or passholder? I wonder if residents or passholders will get a discount any better than 35% off? If so, we might be able to finally stay @ animal kingdom villas!

We're booked for March 4-11, and any kind of discount would be fantabulous!!!

The room only discount for March 2011 came out in Nov 2010 sometime...so it looks like we have some time to wait.:rolleyes1

They usually don't release the next year's rates until August and they surprised us this year by doing it in June. I hope that means the discounts will also come 2 mos early? Probably not. I'm guessing they want the rooms to sit at full price so more people book and don't realize they can add the discount on later.

We are looking to go March 3-7 2012. Would love to have a discount. I have a question about pin codes for room only. If I understand it correctly I can book the room then add the park tickets and dinning at a later date???

I am thinking the same thing. I really hope this is true. Right now we have the largest tab we have ever had for a week at the Beach Club. Not sure if it is worth it unless we get a pin code or a discount.
