Just checked my 3/11-16 Alamo rates again. Dropped another $38.00!!! I'm down to $113.28 for a compact using coupon AD2123JMC (thanks again Webworm!) & walmart contract id 430710. I originally started at $205 back in the Fall. It definitely pays to keep checking.

Checked the rates today for Thrifty (through SWA), and my mid-size
went down almost 40.00 !!!
March 10-18th for 218.00 with all taxes.

OK, just went to costco website, booked through Budget and got a fullsize
for 220.89 !
$3.00 less than thrifty and got a fullsize instead of Mid-size !!
Thanks for the info. ! And, the codes were put in automatically.
My questions are:
Is the 30.00 coupon code not included in that price yet ?
And, Thrifty or budget any better than that other ?

My Alamo rental for 5 days late March has dropped dramatically since last week. Using Costco (7014627) and coupon AF4499SDY (1 free day/week), my compact rate has dropped to $78.78 for a week (total: $118.83).

Actually I may go back and see if a $20 or $25 off coupon lowers it even more since the free day is $19.70.

Again, if you use this combo, be prepared to show your Costco membership...chances are they won't ask for it, but they could.

It looks like I need to have the car over a Saturday night to use that coupon, I'm picking it up Sunday afternoon and dropping it off on Friday. I'm getting rates a lot higher on Budget, am I missing something?

Our rate with Alamo is $102.00 w/taxes for an economy 3/6-3/11 with our entertainment book discount!!! Also have a coupon for 40.00 off +free upgrade at Enterprise. So our one way rental to Cape Canaveral for our Disney cruise after WDW is $8.00 (Will switch cars/companies at DTD after checking out from ASmu). Now, to fine a good rate back to MCO after our cruise.......

Just wanted to post that my March 6-12 National rental car reservation FINALLY dropped this evening. I'm paying $103 (Total $152) for one week rental for full size (Exec. Aisle). I didn't think the price would ever drop.

Thanks for the codes! I'm getting ther $353 also (March 16-23) but it's asking for credit card payment or $75 cancel fee. Does anyone know if you can you reserve with Budget like Alamo without paying in advance? I don't want to reserve Budget at this price in case (wishful thinking) those $199 specials come back.

2/27 thur 3/5/10. Pick up at MCO, return to Disney CCC. $211.48 for midsize executive aisle. I expect it to go down more as we get closer to pickup date.

My dates are March 6 @ 12:30PM drop off March 12 @ 1:00PM. Using the same codes and also Executive Aisle member and my total is $152. ($103 before taxes and fees).
