March 2008

Just checking in...getting more and more excited as the trip gets closer!

We have made ADR's for Liberty Square Tavern, The Brown Derby (with Fantasmic!), and The Coral Reef. I think we may wing it the other nights we are there.

A friend of mine recommended Wolfgang Puck's and I hear that Le Cellier (sp?) at Epcot is nice.

*bounce bounce*

:dance3:

LeCellier is really good! We tried it for the first time last year and we have an ADR for it this year.

Yes- they are really looking froward to it. Ds16 isn't thrilled with Disney (he loves Busch Gardens) but I'm sure this will make him appreciate it more.
Please tell me- what is this Backtrail Adventure tour? I haven't heard of it.

It's a 2 hour segway tour at Ft. Wilderness using the segways with ATV type tires. After an hour of instruction at Mickey's Backyard BBQ you head off on the trail between Ft. Wilderness and the Wilderness Lodge. It costs the same as the Around the World on a Segway tour at Epcot. You can find a couple reviews of it at the allearsnet site.

I am officially joining this thread. We had a May trip planned but as of last night that changed. We are now coming March 2-8th. I think DH just likes to see me freakout about redoing all the ADR's & rescheduling...

Is ther anything going on the first week that I shoudl be concerned about?

We'll be in Disney March 13th - 21st, and I was wondering if anyone going during that time would like to share a Illumination cruise with the 4 of us? me, DH and 2 DDS, ages 21 and 14. I posted to another thread but so far, no one answered.. We've never taken one and I heard so much about them, we would love to do it this year.:cool1:

Tell me more! I will be there from March 8 - 15th so the 13th or 14th might work.

Great! Here's a link to the website that describes the Illuminations cruise. From what I can gather there are 2 boats, 1 holds 10 people and the other holds 6 guests. The cruise is $250.00, and includes snacks and water. It starts out at the Yacht and Beach club and goes over to Epcot and sits somewhere on the water there, and you watch Illuminations from the boat. I've read so many reviews about how wonderful it is, and that its worth every penny. If you get a full boat, then it's only $25.00 per person, plus tip, Iam sure. Look over the website, I've never booked one, but I've heard you have to call starting 4:00 in the morning??? P.M me if your interested... Thanks!

Anyone else starting to have panic attacks that all your plans are wrong?

I'm having a freak out day!:rotfl: :scared: :rotfl: :sad1: :rotfl:

can't remember if I joined this thread or not.

We will be staying at BCV the 8th-15th. Me & DGF are easy to spot, we are always carrying our baggalini with LGMH on it. :)

:rotfl2: I've been having those kinds of days alot lately. So nervous about the crowds. Never been during the holidays. Oh well.... I will be in Disney!

Actually I am too. I think I have planned my ADRs all wrong now.

Just so much to do and see and only 7 days to do it in.... :scared1:

I got a couple dvds from laughing place one of the Pirate and Princess Parties, and one with the Electrical Parade from Disneyland.

We also watched our Disney movie of the day- Aristocats.

New here & can't wait for our trip to WL March 15-22! This is our 4th trip to the World, but our 1st stay inside the park. We're so excited. I am starting to get a little nervous about the timing though. When we started planning I didn't realize this was considered Easter week. We were trying to avoid the school vacation crowds & not have to pull our 2 DSs (9 & 7) out of school for a week. We get school vacations the 3rd weeks of Feb. & April here. It just happened to work out that the boys have 3/21 off for Good Friday & 3/20off for a teacher professional day. We were so happy to work it out so they'd only miss 3 days. Are we going to be sorry now we booked it for this time? This is supposed to be a fun birthday trip for 3 out of 4 of us :cake: (DH's b-day is 3/21, I'm turning 40 the following week & DS will have b-day 4/3). I hope it's not going to be ruined by gigantic crowds :sad2:. My oldest DS has Asperger's Syndrome & doesn't always do well in big crowds. Oh well not too much I can do about it now. Just hope for the best! Anyone else staying at the WL?

Joining in on the fun!
This will be our first family trip, not sure how it will go with 2 very young kids (34 months and 11 months), but I'm sure looking forward to it! :yay:
