Only 2 weeks for me too. I will probably pack next weekend. I have gathered a few things, but I still need to get stuff before I pack. Plus I am waiting to see the 10 day forecast for when I am there.

We were hit by a blizzard last week so I feel we need a vacation now more than EVER! I am so tired of snow... I can't wait to put away my boots and wear sandals!

I did some shopping at the Disney Store last week too. The sale was great! I got DH a couple of those polo shirts for only $7. Then I just had to get myself the "I love Pirates" shirt. It was too cute to pass up. I got the kids a few t-shirts... Jack Skellington is their favorite.

i hear ya!! I'm in Buffalo NY and we have gotten hitten by so many snow storms and its been below zero for about 2 weeks!!! i can't wait to get out of the cold weather !!

i grew up in buffalo from birth till i was 16 and have been in florida the past 10 years. now i am such a wimp. i used to goto bills games in negative wind chills for hours - and now...it is in the upper 30's and i have 2 blankets on and am freezing tonight!

i live in south western florida below disney!

i woke up today and there was a patch of ice on my car...i had to let my car heat up and was about 10 minutes late to work till the ice defrosted...lol...

We leave a week from today and I am so excited. I am hoping for some warmer weather, but its Disney I would go there in sub zero temps if I had to! My dh thinks I am nuts, but I have already started some of my packing to work off some nervous energy. I feel like a small child before Christmas!

I don't think packing 1 week ahead is early at all. I go in 2 weeks and I started already. I have read some have started a month prior to their trip. I know that I won't be finished till the day we leave, as I have the last minute stuff that has to go in, but I will get the bulk of it done in the next week or so. I ahve to go to the mall and get some clothes that fit me too. I have gained alot of weight over the past few years (had a baby and quit smoking), and with hopes of losing it, I bought very few clothes. Well if I don't get some things now, I am going to look just awful! I may check out the Disney store too. I usually never go in, but I hear there is clearance, so I might as well have a look!

Just realized I am down to 10 days!! My daughter still doesn't suspect anything!! Yeah...surprise birthday trip she wont find out about til I wake her up that morning!!!! Just her , me and her grandma!! It is soooooo tough keeping my mouth shut!!!!

It's tough to be the secret-keeper, I know!! We have 24 sleeps left til we go to the 'beach' and surprise my dds with WDW...I really AM too excited to sleep! Good luck with the surprise, and have a great trip!

I'll be there on my honeymoon starting March 19 for a week...any tips, etc.? How about weather? Right now ALL I have packed are shorts, tanks, etc? Is it going to be cold, what about water parks, etc.? Crowds? Thanks!!!

We're gonna be in the Orlando area from the 9th til the 24th. We're going to Clearwater for a few days but the rest of the time we're gonna be in Orlando. We'll be at Port Orleans French Quarters from March 9th til the 14th. Then we're staying off property from the 14th til the 19th. Clearwater for a few days and then back to Orlando from the 22-24th

Can't wait!!!
