Happy New Year, everyone!

We just got back from a rather chilly week at WDW after Christmas. We stayed offsite, and managed three park days. Man, those crowds are something else. Makes me realize how lucky we have been on our other visits.

The trip was a surprise for DD, but the jig was up when we crossed the border into Buffalo. DH said we were staying there for one night, and then on to Orlando. The officer said, So you're going to DisneyWorld? No way to keep it a secret any longer!

We are definitely in for the FEs, so AbsyBabsy if you're making a list, please include the three of us.

I am just finishing up the loads of laundry from last week, and I'm just transferring some items straight back into the duffels for use on the cruise.

Welcome to all the new cruisers! You're in for the time of your life.

Amanda, for the update list, we are in stateroom 2560. Loved it so much the first time, we asked for the same room again! We have late dinner seating. This worked so well for us and we enjoyed seeing the shows first (we take a glass of wine along), and then having a chance to relax in the lounge or Beat Street after dinner while DD headed back to the club. DD will be thrilled to have another 11-year-old girl in the group too. She is already asking for details!

Also, I noticed that sunburnin is on our main list, but I recall that he rebooked. I wanted to doublecheck that, and his change is at around post 34 or 35 here.

Thanks for all your good work in getting the group organized and so upbeat!

I started working on my FE presents last night. Hopefully I can get them done in time.

Amanda 3pm for the meet will work for us. We are planning on leaving the Clearwater area around 8 in the morning. Do you know how much in tolls it is from Clearwater to the Port. Need to figure out how many quarters I need to pack.

We have a Palo brunch reservation on Day 6 at 10:30. We are doing the Jeep Excursion in Cozumel. I have 2 things booked in Grand Cayman and when I figure out which one we are doing I will let you know.

Well let's just hope the weather isn't like it was the week at WDW after Christmas -- those snowballs would be in their element, sadly. We were so cold the day we landed that we didn't look at all out of place in our Ontario parkas.

Thanks for organizing this FE. We've cruised Disney, but never done this exchange before. We're eager to try it out! Six of us will be in Cabin 8030 (the Roy O Disney suite).

Hi,

I will be on this cruise with my two sons, 8 & 11 and my mom. It is the first cruise for all four of us. This will be the culmination of a two week Disney celebration trip. I am coming home from a year in Afghanistan and I promised my boys we would go on a Disney cruise when I got back (I'm still in Afghanistan now, but I'll be back home mid-February). I invited mom along to thank her for helping with my boys while I was away. Before the cruise we are staying at Loews Portofino at Universal and then Grand Floridian. We are all SO excited!

I definitely want to do the FE--it sounds like so much fun! We are GTY, so I don't have a room number yet. I can't wait to meet you all! YAY!!!

Just wanted to say hello! I'm cruising for the first time w/ husband, DD 7 and DS 5. I've been surfing these boards reguarly for new info and good tips; hope you've found good info as well!
