March 16, 2014 All aboard the Disney Wonder!!

First time cruising family here and we are super excited to connect with some more Disney loving families for the trip. We ave a daughter who will be 6 on the trip and I am hoping she can meet some cruise buddies!!

I searched and didn't see another thread for this cruise! Maybe we are the only family booked so far!! it is kind of early. Well if you are joining us in Miami, Cozumel and Castaway Cay, let us know! Maybe we can coordinate some exchanges, once I learn what they are!

Hello!! We are on the 3/16/14 wonder cruise, as well. We had to cancel our cruise on the Fantasy, this year. This will be our second cruise on DCL. Can't wait!!!

Hooray! I check a bunch of room categories and every room seemed available. I was starting to think we had the ship to ourselves! This will be our first cruise. And with 13 months to go, the wait is going to be loooong!

Jacquieone - looks like it is just us so far!! This is our first cruise! Got any tips to share from your first trip? I am so excited and we still have a year to count! Hoping we get a few more purples and families on here to join us!!

Hello sorry for the delayed response...

My tips would be:
-get to the port early, so you can hopefully board earlier
-do the beer refill mug if you are a beer drinker, for discounted refills
-order as much as you want off of the dinner menus (especially apps) to try everything!!!
-bring a bag to take stuff to and from the pools easier
-bring your own large mugs for drink refills (if you enjoy adult beverages ) so you don't have to make frequent trips to the beverage stations
-bring alcohol on board to make adult beverages (saves on your room charge)
-participate in the FE, it's so fun
-do Palo brunch and/or dinner

That's all I can think of for now. I hope others join the thread & share!!!
