Sorry, but we will not be able to make it to the Arizona Dis meet Sunday. I have to get some things done that day and I just cannot fit it in. Have fun!!

So excited about all of the positive reviews that are pouring in about the 2/13sailing. Everyone seems to have loved it!! We do need to remember to register our cheer/dance team for the talent show. Does anyone want the job? If not, I will do it!

Back from DL and now to start thinking about the cruise. Had a great time. It rained all day on Sat. A little annoying but low crowds. Almost everything was a walk on. 5 min for Soarin'.

WOC was great. IT was blurry with the rain and wind, but still worth it. If you can make time for the show Magic, the memories, and you, do it. It is projected on Small World and the technology was amazing.

For those who don't get to DL often, be sure to see "Aladdin" at DCA. Incredible show.

Looking forward to seeing some of you on Sunday at Matsuri.

Deck one is where we exit the ship for excursions. We could meet at the aft elevators....there is a bit of a lobby there, and then just exit together through the aft exit. Does that work for everyone?

Okay so here is where it gets confusing! If we meet at 10:30 PVR time that is 9:30 ship time. So we need to meet at 9:30 correct?

I was also wondering if CC or u.s. cash works or if I should change cash into pesos. I know in Cancun area everyone accepted cash. I would be surprised if they wanted you to wear pants. Did they say why? We went ziplining before in mexico and it was so humid we would have died in pants!

I am so confused by this time change thing....
But yes, 10:30 PV time. The CS reps on the ship will let us know what time it is in port.

I am usually up at 6:30 or so having a coffee at the cofe so i will be ready.
My favorite little indulgence....Cafe Cove. No kids..no DH as he likes to sleep in. Just me time. I have meet so many nice people and servers in the Cove in the morning.

I think the pants comment was for bugs. She said bug spray and pants and running shoes. Of course we can wear what we want! I think she was just giving us her opinion. Bug bites are yucky....it is the " jungle" you know!

I think we will just bring Cash! I know we want to go to Sam's or Walmart before boarding the ship for Rx. We did this in Cozumel before and some of the medicines were way cheaper!

I just need to hurry up and make it through the next several weeks. My 7 yo is running a fever, but no other symptoms. I think she may be cutting teeth(molars). The dentist said a couple months ago she had some teeth she would be cutting soon.

On one of the trip reports from recent cruisers, they reported that change is given in pesos when using US cash at SAMs and Walmart. So avoid larger bills, unless of course you favor pesos.

That sounds about right from when we started planning this. I have seen a few more posts of newer folks on the meet board mention that they were going to do Los Veranos. But, they were not within this group planning to meet.

I am all for meeting up before leaving the ship and trying to get a tender together. We will have plenty of time since it is not first thing in the morning. Could they also put "Sonya's Group" on the sign?

Hello:

I am wondering if any of you are staying at the Airport Marriot on Century Blvd the night before the cruise? Are you using DCL transportation or your own arranged.

My Mother changed her mind at the last minute about driving from Sacramento to LA and contacted DCL to arrange Air, Land and one Hotel night.

She has all her reservations but was not given specific information about the land transfers.

Will DCL provide Transportation from LAX to the Hotel even though this hotel has an airport shuttle that runs pretty regularly? Or are they expecting her to use the Hotel Shuttle? She is unclear about this.

Also, she said that they did not tell her when the shuttle will pick her up on Sunday and take her to the Terminal. She told them she was meeting us at the terminal at 11:00 and the person said she didn't think she will make it there that early. But at the same time they did not tell her when to expect to be picked up. How will she find out when the shuttle will pick her up on Sunday?

She is not comfortable with handing her luggage over to some person at the Hotel and expecting it to get to her later. She would rather keep it with her until she gets to the terminal and then hand it over to the porters herself. Can she do this?

Thank You for any information. My Mother does not always think clearly and quickly and we are concerned she will get frustrated and disoriented. She was going to drive down to visit my Brother and he was going to take her to the Terminal to meet up with us. I do not know why this changed but my DH, DD, and I made our air and other travel plans months ago and can't change them now.

We are from Tulsa area too. We are in Bixby. I have a daughter that just turned 13 this week and son that is 9. There is another family from Tulsa that has been on the boards. Looks like we have quite a group coming from Oklahoma as well.

Why don't you join us and save yourself the taxi ride? Just call the 1800 number and add yourself to our reservation. I think it would be great to have us all together. Maybe they plan on sending an open air van, or bus. Call to see if they have enough room....

Hi Erin,

I have not used transfers in LA so I am only giving you info based on what I know from others and what I have read.
It is my understanding that the Disney buses leave from the airport. So that would mean when your mom arrives at the airport, she would take the HOTEL shuttle to the hotel, then take the HOTEL shuttle again the airport the next morning to catch the Disney express bus.
In port Canaveral, the busses left the airport around noon or one o' clock so I am guessing it might be the same in California.

If you are concerned, call Disney Cruiseline yourself, quote your moms reservation number and you should get some better answers. Even look up her reservation online. I wasn't aware Disney made hotel reservations at the airport for travelers. Are you sure it wasn't from a travel agent?

Just to confuse us more on the time difference thing, I read somewhere that Mexico does not do Daylight Savings time until April. Does this mean we will be 2 hours off Puerto Vallarta time? All I know is that the ship will be earlier than Puerto Vallarta so we should not be late, right?
