Snowbound here in Toronto as we got a foot overnight into today. Kids schools were closed for the first time we can remember.
This cheer should be something to see - looking forward to it. Cheer seems to be a uniquely American activity since it is not really big here in Canada. DD12 (Maeve) would probably help out with some form of talent. She does not do cheer but does do competitive dance in: tap; jazz; ballet; musical theatre; lyrical; contemporary; modern; and hip hop (if she did not dance we could travel in a suite). No acro. She might be suited better to some Irish dancing as she could probably pick that up faster. She also goes to an arts school for voice so she can belt out a cheer.
This snow on the ground really makes me want to get out of here for a week. It also makes me nervous that we might get hit with something when we fly out on March 11.
Happy packing to those who are snowbound and are doing that to pass the time.
