March 13th 2011 Fiesta time on the Wonder!

With my Palo Brunch being moved to the 17th, it opened up a Palo High Tea. We're going to High Tea and Brunch on the 17th and Palo Dinner on the 18th. What kind of clothes do you wear to High Tea? I had personalized t-shirts made for St. Patrick's Day, don't think I can wear those to Palo ~

Sure you can!! Wear a Gold jacket and pointy leprechaun shoes!! :rotfl2:

For those of you looking for brunch or high tea....
There are new times available! Check it out.
And good luck!

Oh and we are expected to have 30 cm (that's about 12inches) of snow coming in tomorrow.:scared1:

And if its going to be another feelslike -30 day.... I m going to have to have a sick day.

I am so sick of this cold weather.....need some sunlight.

I hear you!! We have the same forcast and we have a funeral to attend 1 hour north of here... I hope that the weatherman missed his mark...

The weatherman usually miss their mark when calling for snow here!!! I hope everyone thaws out soon!!! March will be here soon.

We actually just changed our time. We were reserved at 10:30am but changed it to 11:00am. My husband preferred a little later time.

I tried to change our Dolphin Swim to earlier now that our Palo has changed days but all the earlier times were booked. I guess we can take our time getting off the ship and not have to worry about fighting for an early tender.

Our Palo brunch also changed from the 15th to the 17th, time is still the same. So my birthday Palo Brunch will be two days late :lmao:

Well now you get to spread out your birthday celebration to more days! :thumbsup2

I hope I did not confuse anyone. Our Palo reservation time changed days as well but the time stayed the same. We chose to take a later time since they were more times available.

I just went to DCL too and my brunch was also automatically moved from the 1st Cabo day to the sea day. :cool1::cool1:

I booked the whale watching cruise on the first Cabo day (the New Day) since it had such weird port times. But it is really a place holder, worried it would book up so grabbed it for now. :thumbsup2

I'm disappointed that they haven't offered any "extra" excursions....thought since we were there two days they'd expand the offerings and give additional cabo choices.

I still think I may just do horse back riding on my own the first day or even a whale watching on my own.

I DO know we've decided on the Crown Paradise in PV for our "resort" day. It will be sort of our Castaway Cay day since we're not stopping there. I got my email confirmation from Crown today! :cool1: WHO ALL ELSE IS COMING? :)

We will be having our beach resort day there also.

Thanks so much for the tip about Palo reservations!! I just made brunch reservations to replace the ones I had previously made that magically disappeared!! Fantastic!! Thanks so much!!!

No prob!:)
I was hoping those that didn't get a chance the first time around might have luck tonight. I have never seen high tea available this close to a cruise date...grab it while you can!

My family will be at Crown Paradise PV. Looking forward to it.

Snagged Palo brunch and High tea. :cool1:

Yea! We will be the small group with only 4.

We are expecting about 12 inches here in Oklahoma as well. I told the kids when they went to school today to enjoy as it will probably be their only day this week. We are supposed to stay below freezing until Friday when it gets to 34. Actual temperature is going to be -4 Wednesday morning and who knows with wind chill. We are supposed to have winds up to 20mph. :scared1: I am looking forward to warmth as well!

Meredith

We have ice so far, now we are under a blizzard warning in the area we are in. They said to expect 16 to 20inches. Never seen that much in my life. Wind up to 50mph.
crazy! How would you like to be on a cruise ship with 50mph winds?!

Okay, so I'm too tired to try Disney's website again, I kept getting error messages yesterday...

Can anyone confirm for sure what days we're in Cabo and the times?? I had scheduled a kayak/beach/boogie board day but I really don't think it will be worth it....I'm reading all the trip reports and consistently they're saying it takes 1.5 hours just to get OFF the ship to get to Cabo...and our ship will be more crowded than last week's....last I looked it was 11:30-5:30 one day..well, IF we get off in the first hour it'll be a long line to get back on a tender to get back, I just don't want to spend my day in lines...:(

I have yet to read about any port upgrades on the last cruise...but a lot of complaints about the food, hope they get it worked out soon!

Thanks for posting the Cabo times/dates!
Tara

Ok, we are a party of 9. 4 adults, 2 teens (15 girl, 14boy) and and 3 tweens (10 girl, 10 boy and 12boy).Thats 23 people altogether. Sounds great! I don't think the ship will leave 23 people behind.:thumbsup2

I sure hope not, it would look quite strange to be missing that many people!

Sunday - Los Angeles
Monday - At Sea
Tuesday - Cabo San Lucas (ashore time is 11:15am, onboard time is
5:00pm)
Wednesday - Puerto Vallarta (ashore time is 7:00am, onboard time is
7:00pm)
Thursday - At Sea
Friday - Cabo San Lucas (ashore time is 7:15am, onboard time is 2:30pm) Saturday - At Sea Sunday - Los Angeles

Tara if you booked your excursions thru the ship you will be one of the first groups off of the ship. The people that waited an hour and a half had to go after the excursions. If you are not going to book thru the ship just wait til a little bit after the mad rush goes and you will not have to wait. Same goes for getting back on. Hope this helps.

Anyone else nervous about all the bad reviews???!!! :sad2:

I was wishing that we could leave this Sunday cause the anticipation is killing me, but now I think I am content to wait and give Disney time to figure things out!! It will be interesting to see what the next few sailings have to say. I have my fingers crossed for some positivity!! :lovestruc

It has been a long time since I have been to a tender port. When it says onboard time is 5:00pm, when should the last tender leave?

Thanks,

Meredith
