I went online to the DCL website to cancel our excursion to Atlantis (figured we'd save the $$ and just take it easy around the port and on the ship that day). Now, when I try to pull up the ressie, says something about "system error, try back later". I am so panicked that our ressie got cancelled b/c I can't see ANYTHING about it.

I called DCL, but of course they closed 45 mins earlier. Sent an urgent note to our TA (DU)...nothing yet. Any reason why I should NOT be concerned?!?!?!?!?!?!

At least I can sleep tonite now....found a thread where folks have had similar issues with the online site for the past 3 days!!! whew......I'm definitely calling DCL in the morning, but my bp has returned to normal for now

UPDATE - Just read a post by a fellow DISer of a roundabout way of getting into the system and it worked and I saw our ressie....Happy Days are here again

Has everyone filled in your on-line checkin information? It is the same info as in the cruise doc book, but supposedly it saves a lot of time at the dock. When we used a TA for past cruises, she always told us the info had to be submitted to homeland security before we were allowed to board. If you do it on line, it should have already cleared security before you arrive at Port Canaveral. It's a good thing!

Yes, we have all filled in our online info. All we are waiting for now, is DH birth Certificate to come in. The one he had looked scary. lol

Hello everyone.... It is so exciting!! I cannot wait to see the new shipCan someone tell me when and where the meet is on embarkment day?? Please! Thinking of going shopping tomorrow in the US for some things and going to start packing soon...that will make it seem real! I have to go to the US border to shop to get Dramamine!! They don't sell it here in Canada. I am just a little concerned about DD (last time she had a friend with her) I have a sneaky suspicion she will be spending more time with DH and I this time...I will encourage her to attend the club for the meet time.

Anyways, FE List is closed....any new families will be added with the stipulation they will get gifts from those with extras or can form their own FE group. Here is the current plan for distributing gifts (pls try to have your FEs hanging by 6p on embarkation day and try to have gifts delivered by 9p on your day/date:

Day 1/March 13 - Decks 2 & 5, GTY rooms
Day 2/March 14 - Deck 7
Day 3/March 15 - Decks 6 & 9
Day 4/March 16 - Deck 8

...meet on Deck 12 (starboard side - by the dock, by the Aquaduck...map shows open area), b/c it is fairly open there. If there is bad weather, let's plan on meeting in the Bon Voyage bar adjacent to the lobby (although I hear it is small).
Let's plan on 3:15p

So 3:15 on Deck 12 near the Aquaduck unless weather requires us to meet at the Bon Voyage bar instead. I will be wearing a lime-green Mickey head pin with my DIS name on it. See ya real soon!

So My 10 year old (B) tells the 6 year old (B), "Look Ray, he could be your friend!" They were going by the ages of the kids. Then my 6 year old was like oh, he's my friend and he's my friend. All I could do was laugh!! They were so serious about this!!

I haven't stayed at Fort Wilderness, but have visited it many times. It is so beautiful. I would like to give it a try myself one day. My family loves the Boardwalk. It is a fun place to stay. The access to Studios and EPCOT is simple from there and we really like the boardwalk itself.

We are at the Rosen Shingle Creek for the Friday and Saturday nights before the cruise. Got it for $60/night on Priceline.

After the 3/17 cruise, we are staying at POP for one night (MK EMH).

Drag her to the club and she can be my daughter's new best friend -- I will tell Sarah (13) that she will have a Canadian friend to find and she will be thrilled! Just make sure your cell plan allows unlimited texting and that she has a FB account already, LOL.

No time to get excited, getting ready for vacation is always such a headache, no one does my work when I am gone so I have to be really organized before I leave.
