haha, that would be awesome. I might go when my dad takes my sister for her CP move-in but it kind of all depends on my school situation. We'll see.

The new resort mugs are so cute. I saw a link that they were now good for life but then read it and found out it was an April Fool's joke. LOL.

HEY DIS FRIENDS!!!

I'm sure most of you have already read my screaming on FB but...


I FINALLY PASSED MY PRAXIS EXAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and I quote from Tangled "BEST DAY EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!" It is for sure the hardest exam I've ever had to pass in my life and I hope it's the last!!!

I have an email out to a professor from my college to see what I need to do next. I'll have to fill out a new application and get a $$ order but I'm not sure if I need all the background checks as well so I'm waiting to hear back on that but I got over the first hurdle and as soon as I mail my application it will just be a waiting game!

Right now though..I'm tired from being nervous/lack of sleep/plus OT at work so I'm going to crash after dinner but thought I would share the great news!!!

Thanks! I have no clue. I'm like so upset right now bc on FL Dept of ED it's saying that you need a Standard or Level II cert to teach and I'll have a level I which I dunno if that's standard or not?!

I'm going to call tomorrow. To get my Level II I need 30 additional credit hours including 2 specific inclusion ED classes but the rest can be undergrad or grad classes in most areas with passing grades of B-.

I have a ton to think about and to figure out. Ugh.

Thanks!!!!! I feel like half of you have been around for so many years of this darn test! I'm so glad it's over and everything else will fall into place when it does. I was patient for this so I have to be patient for whatever else comes my way..the good and the bad!

I'LL NEVER DRIVE 2 HOURS TO FLY SOUTHWEST...

Happy Thursday Dis Friends!

FIRST OF ALL...THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL OF THE WELL WISHES AND PRAYERS! PATIENCE AND PRAYING PAYS OFF AND NOW MY TEST IS PASSED!!!!

I did find out that in order to get my permanent cert that I have to go back to school and take 30 credits but I have 6 years to do it and I can do it out of state so not a huge deal. We'll see what the future brings but it looks like my cert application will be submitted by the end of the month due to my surgery and the possibility of travel to PA to finalize paperwork/money order and after that we'll go from there! FL is where I'd like to be

Sorry that I've put the TR on the back burner for the moment but I don't have pics uploaded and I'm about ready to crash so I thought I would give you something to read before I update tomorrow!! I have questions too of course! haha



NEVER SAY NEVER RIGHT?!!!

I said I'LL NEVER DRIVE 2 HOURS TO COLUMBUS TO FLY SOUTHWEST...well it might just be happening. Delta is out of the question with their $300+ flights, Airtran is just a tad cheaper even with all those crazy fees but for $259, we can fly nonstop, check 2 bags, and pick our own seats without a fee. Since the other 2 options are out, it looks like we might be driving the 2 hours to Columbus to fly Southwest. The other 2 areas are in IN and Louisville, KY (both 2 hours away) but their SW flights are more money.

We're also trying to decide a post VB resort at WDW. With my friend's CM discount, we can get a Water View room at CBR or Standard room at POR. I'd like FQ or CSR but they are both booked for the dates and there is still no GP or AP discount so we might have to deal with double beds for a night or two. I debated about doing 2 rooms at POP but my dad has never stayed there and I don't think has an desire to


WHAT WOULD YOU PICK??? CBR OR POR??? I've stayed at both and according to the maps both are huge. Unless bro is off (which he won't be by then), we won't have a car which makes it even worse IMO.

I like CBR because of all the bright colors and the pools were nice as well as the food court but the resort is huge and we were in Trinidad South (one of the furthest away) but had a car. At POR we also had a car and were in one of the furthest buildings away but you have the connection to DTD since we aren't doing parks plus the walk to and from POR FQ.

Everything is set for my surgery next week and I had to get a tetanus shot today..yuck! So I'm off to nurse that with ice and relax in bed while crying since Jersey Shore is not on tonight (Please don't judge..we all need our trashy TV from time to time!!!)

for your next trip- i would have to vote POR for post VB. it is my favorite mod. I've stayed at CBR too and enjoyed it, but we just love POR- i love the food court there more, the pool (although CBR has redone its pool since i was there) and i just like the theming on the AB side. I am interested in VB too- i really want to check it out sometime, so i'll be waiting to hear how it goes!

I think since you are not going to parks, but will hit up DTD, then POR is perfect. You can not beat that boat ride. So nice and peaceful and convenient
