Hi there! We are a family of 5 and just booked our first trip on DCL leaving March 11 from Miami. We are so excited and just learned about FE's, etc. Any info would be wonderful Kids: DD12, DS9 and DD7.

Welcome aboard, I will try to explain FE's if I confuse you more so sorry...
It is a small gift that is exchanged between families. Many people do seperate gifts for each child then a family gift. Some choose to just do a family gift. The most important thing to remember is that they are to be fun (not stressful) and not a budget breaker.

How does a meet and greet sound at the Promenade Lounge at 3:00? We will provide color sheets and crayons for the kids. There is also a bar where you can get a variety of drinks including the drink of the day and beer.

I would recommend choicing your excursions sooner then later and then enjoy the planning and the vacation.

Hey Everyone, I'm really hoping to be on this cruise with you all. My hubby had sent the travel agent all of my info and such for the March 2nd cruise and in just the time frame that he was sending her the info on what cabin category that we wanted it was sold out!!! So this is our next option and so IF we are able to get in without it being sold out, It will be myself (31) and my two kids. Christopher (7) and Mackenzie (1) This will be My son and my 10th Cruise (yes Platinum status after this cruise!!!) and my Daughters second cruise (we cruised with her when she was only 4 months old). If we are on this cruise for sure we would like to join in on the FE exchange if it is still open for joining I will update tomorrow as soon as we hear back from our travel agent

I just found this forum, so excited. We can't wait to take our son on his first cruise (2 3/4 at cruising). Asked to join Facebook page too. Any other 2 almost 3 yrs going? And have you used the nursery? We are a little afraid about that. Also, what did you all get on your pillow case and I should I do one for each of us or just our son? What is FEs and is that still open?
