March 11, 2013 - 5 Night Western Caribbean - Disney Wonder March 11, 2013

For those of you with 10 year olds, where will you register them? In the Lab or in the Edge? I have two 10 year olds, not sure what to do with them...but I have to consider the 8 year old and the 13 year old too! (the 5 year old is the only boy and tends to do his own thing).

I'm afraid they will want to do the Edge, leaving the 8 year old alone in the Lab/Club. No way will the two ten year olds split up.

The 13 year old is a little sullen and already saying she won't attend the clubs at all because she won't know anyone. Not sure having her sisters there would help.

Any thoughts?

Can't help with the edge or the club, but can't you register them in both. I know Kate(7) never plays with her little brother at the club and they are inseperable at home. But Ms. kate makes friends like a moth to a light.

I too will have a 10 year old (dd) and my other daughter will be 9 at the time. I'm hoping Sydney can make some friends and then she will be fine going to the Lab/Club.

Are we going to have a Dis meet the first day? I think it would be great for the kids to all meet since it seems like we all have kids around the same age. I know it would make the transition a lot smoother for both my girls if they were able to meet some other kids.

A Dis meet would be great, I know the perfect spot but I can't think of the name at the moment (it will come to me as soon as I am 99% a sleep tonight). On our June cruise some of the girls communited through email (kate used mine/not quite ready to give my 7 year old access to FB or email) to meet before the cruise so that when they got to the Dis meet they know some facts about each other. If you are interested in something like that I could also post it on Facebook.

I'm sure my girls would be happy to exchange email, or whatever to chat beforehand!

Does anyone have a young teen girl coming? My 13 year old DD is on her own a bit with her sisters being younger.

are you following the facebook page that seems to get a little bit more action then our thread.

Hi everyone, we will be sailing with you. We are doing a B2B and continuing on the cruise on the 16th as well. We have a 10 year old son.

Curious if anyone is flying into Ft. Lauderdale. Disney doesn't offer transfers from there and we now need transportation.

Thnaks!

My DD will turn 13 on March 17th, she would love to exchange emails with your daughter if she's interested. She chatted with a girl via email before our Alaska cruise in 2011 and they ended up spending a lot of time together! I'll PM you her email address if you/your DD are interested. :)

We have a 10 year old DS that will be coming with us! We are also doing a B2B, but we are doing the 4 night that starts on March 7th, so this will be the second of our cruises.

DCL put us on a wait list for FLL transfers. I'm not sure if we'll fly into FLL or MIA, but the DCL rep said to get on the list because that is how they are gauging if there is enough interest to offer the transfers from FLL. :)

We're doing the same thing!

Are you traveling with any kids? We'll have our middle DD12 (who will turn 13 on March 17th) and our DS10.

Our son will be turning 13 at Castaway Cay on leg No. 1.

Welcome aboard, FE information is listed on the facebook page (i think I accepted you this afternoon) under documents. I have not yet started organizing a meet up but yes I am planning on one was just waiting until after christmas.
