March 10 announcement?

How kong after announcing the itineries do they open it for booking if you are "only" a silver CC member?

I really really want to go on any Hawaii to Asia routes that were hinted to me by an officer on the Wonder in December. My dummy onboard booking nominates DU as a T/A - will they contact me to let me know the dates and if I want to change my booking? Or do I have to just send through emails of what I might want as I want to get the best pricing as new programs tend to sell out quicky?

I hope they hold off and not announce anything till the shareholders meeting on the 23rd. Beause it would be nice to hear some real news, rather than a rehash of what everyone has already heard or read.

Can someone confirm that there is indeed an announcement that is going to made on the 10th?

I have heard from some yes and from other TAs that there is not. Does anyone know for sure if there is?

I just checked the Grand Cayman Port Authority website for late 2012 and posted this on another thread.

It appears that the Magic will be at Grand Cayman weekly starting in October 2012.

This leads to a possibility of Galveston in fall 2012 for the Magic.

Could this also mean a possibility of New York from March to September 2012 given the rumors about the Magic not being in Europe that year??

This would be AWESOME. I was hoping for the Magic coming to Galveston in March 2012 as we are moving in July 2012 but were not moving too far. Now, I'm only 45 mins from Galveston but come summer 2012 I'll be about 4 hours. But I'll take it!!!!

It could also mean that the Magic and Fantasy will sail out of Port Canaveral, maybe on different days of the week. If they do this they can offer both Eastern and Western itineraries on the same week instead of alternating like they do now with one ship

I know alot of people get tired of doing the same itinerary if they can only travel during the same week every year and this would be a nice alternative to that. A lot of other cruise lines offer the same thing where they have ships leaving out of the same port but with different itineraries

The Fantasy is already confirmed to be in Grand Cayman every other week all fall of 2012. Guests have been booking fall 2012 cruises for three weeks now. The Fantasy is even making a stop in Puerto Rico in November and December 2012 on their Western itineraries.

The Magic is listed every single week at the same port (Grand Cayman). It seems more like a different home port to me for the Magic with an identical (or nearly identical) cruise each week. I guess we'll know in a couple of days.
