Could somebody post again about where the meet is, I read 3:00 pm Prom. deck but is that Saturday? and where on the deck?
Just watched the Magic leave on her Eastern cruise. Two weeks before ours

We always catch the Port Canaveral web cam provided by Fish Lips restaurant.
Cell phone service, I can't remember if my husband had it in St. Martin or not, but he did in Curacao a few years back and I think Aruba too and those are Dutch islands so I am guessing he did. We are on Verizon. I remember he had some business calls to make and he got a lot of Happy Birthday calls that day. We have never had issues on St. Thomas. So Verizon works, I am also sure of roaming charges apply.
I fly out on March 5th to our Florida home. My son, his wife and little grand daughter will be arriving at our home Sat. March 3. If I wanted to see them I have to go early. Guess who gets to bring down all the luggage for the cruise! At least it will really be only the dress clothes and my DH's Tommy Bahama shirts. The other vacation clothing is already at the house.
DH is flying down on Thursday March 8th. He misses the grand daughter, they have to drive back to Atlanta on Thursday

. I will be packing for the cruise Thursday and Friday. We decided not to drive to the port. We have early dining which means we will have to be in the dinning room on debarkation day at 6:00 am for the send off breakfast. We decided to let somebody else do the driving back to the house.
We fly back to West Des Moines, on Monday the 19. I hope it warms back up down there. When we left on Feb. 13 it was so cold on our last day down there and since we have been back, it has been hot until yesterday and today. I noticed people on the Magic had long pants on and coats. It was 62 there at the time of sailing. With the wind and humidity, that is cold for down there.
Our daughter is doing the Disney College Program and lets us know how hot it is. Oh please, it snowed Thursday! Hopefully she can still go with us on the cruise. Since she started late she didn't get the time off. She can ask for people to pick up her shifts, we shall see if that happens.
If you stop by the parks before the cruise, she is working at Tower of Terror in the gift shop, Rock'n Roller Coaster in the gift shop, and Fantasmic. Her name is Stephanie and her college is Iowa State University.
Don't forget to check out the port web cam. We have been watching the ships leave almost every day. It is surprising the number of cruise ships that use the port as a port stop. The cam is located at Fish Lips. Never have ate there yet, but probably will. Our boat is at Blue Points Marina. From what we have been told all of the restaurants in the port are great.
