A couple questions about the tour....

1. Is it hard to get a reservation? (Does it book up immediately?)
2. How soon can you book it?
3. Is there an AP discount? (The disney website doesn't show one as far as I can see.)
4. Do you get to go in the utilidors?

1) I know when we went in 2016 it took us two or three tries to get a date we could go to work with our work schedule
2) no clue my sister booked it
3) not sure see reasoning above
4) nope I think only backstage magic and keys to the kingdom do however at least when I went you went backstage on a few attractions

I took this tour in 2016. It was not hard to book and I think I booked it along with my ADRs. There is an AP discount. There is something better than utilidors; you get to go underneath the Haunted Mansion ride while it is in operation. The tour starts on Main Street and talk about Walt's life. Then you go the Haunted Mansion for ride and backstage. You end the tour at Carousel of Progress with a private showing in theater all to group.

There is something better than utilidors; you get to go underneath the Haunted Mansion ride while it is in operation.

It's understandable why people want to take a look at the utilidors but going under the Haunted Mansion is one of the coolest things ever. By all means catch one of the tours where you see the utilidors, but don't miss the MTMK tour.
