There are so many ways to answer this question.

I went with what I consider the "best" but freely admit that best doesn't mean my favorites that I watch over and over again.

But next weekend is going to be brutal...

My initial list for next week is already too long. I am not looking forward to having to chop off some perfect movies and some personal favorites.

Everything will be sold out by 1130, right? So I could still work a half-day/afternoon next week (starting at around 12.) And if for some reason, things go absolutely insane and we crash the servers, someone could help me get DS registered?

I do think with all the hype lately and our W&D experience, yes, things will be sold out by 11:30. If I get through for my 5K I'm happy to help get DS registered, and I'm sure I'm not alone.

The way I just panicked and checked the calendar . Last year the HM sold out in 79 minutes but the year before it was 2 hours. I feel like it will be closer to last years than the previous year. Though with more 5k spots, could that trickle up? More people will get the 5k they wanted so won't have to bump up to the 10k, which means less will get locked out of the 10k and decide to do the half? Maybe I'm over thinking it though!

In the years that registration has been scheduled at 10 AM Eastern (and they’ve actually opened on time) I’ve always been done registering by 11 AM. Anecdotally, it seems likely that everything will be sold out by 11:30 (or before) and that everyone will have either had success or failure by that point.

I remember one year in the somewhat recent past where something went wrong with the rD system and registration didn’t open on time. Someone with a better memory than mine may know the year and exactly when it opened. That type of issue would likely be the only thing that could cause registration to still be going after 12 pm.

It was in 2021 for the 2022 races. I remember because I was sitting in an overlook at Grand Teton National Park where I had about 1.5 bars of signal to try and register for my first Dopey!

It was registration for 2023 and it was a hot mess. Registration got delayed until some time at noon. It was way too stressful and I never want to have to deal with that again.
