I just booked my first two DVC nights in a cheap studio (resort view AK Kidani) before DH comes down. I'll book the rest of the stay (1 bed BWV standard view) in a couple days. I'm excited to try out AK for a race weekend! Since I like to drive to the 5K and 10K anyway and will be spending time with my local famiy and in the parks, it should work pretty well and I hopefully won't miss the savanna view too much.

Booked at Grand Floridian, but will most likely try to switch to Polynesian. That worked out really nice for us last time as we just walked to the TTC Monorail station, instead of first taking the Monorail resort loop first to get to the TTC, plus TTC was closer to our room than the lobby - it was easier to stagger to the room after the marathon...

My DW worked her magic while we were still at DL, a travel day and then a work day and we were able to get three separate DVC studios (two arriving two days before the third) and all at Wilderness Lodge. We are out of points for awhile but we have all our kids and my parents coming. Did OKW and AK the past two race weekends so really looking forward to the short walk to Geyser Point and it's bison burger!

Haven't yet succumbed to DVC but happy to be back near Crescent Lake for 2027 after doing Pop this year (Nothing against Pop - just prefer the location at CL). Currently have a split stay between Swan Reserve (5/6) and Dolphin. Hoping to eventually land the whole stay at Swan or Dolphin if the Thursday night ever opens up. (It never did for me for MW26).

Booked at Beach Club. It's really my favorite location for marathon weekend, and it's so nice to be able to guarantee reservations there now.

Got my SCF bib for Dopey paid for and my reservation booked at SSR!

Dopey secured for 2027.

Next wil be room reservation. Plan to return to OKW since the cheap studios were (of course) already gone at BW. Came close to justifying the extra cost for a regular studio at either BW or BC in my head as I love being in that area, but since I will likely be solo and down there for longer with Dopey, I for once did the more economical thing. OKW is usually slower to fill up so will wait a bit and let the sting from the Dopey registration and donation settle before getting that secured.

To be fair, the expensive room categories at BW already have at least 1 night missing too.

You should be fine with either OKW (not near hospitality house category) or SSR.

im undecided what i want to do.

goofy or marathon only but want to do the whole week to have fun and be within the MW atmosphere. we missed the magic this year staying over at universal.
