The DW would be the first to say that I already have way too many shirts, but for me I have work/church suitable (meaning dress shirts and/or moisture-wicking Polo shirts), casual social setting (like going out to eat) or concert in the park, work-from-home suitable, working in the yard suitable, and at the lowest tier are the working-on-cars shirts. (Insert the scene of Monica's 11 categories of towels... IYKYK). And depending on which activities I've been doing, I can go through two or three shirts a day due to sweating or what I've been doing.SAFD: I don't really have any old race shirts. Before Disney World runs, I usually would just toss race shirts from the local races. I have too many t-shirts, so no room for race shirts. So I would say my oldest race shirt right now is the 2020 WDW half marathon shirt.
Now to add a question to this, what do you guys do with all of your rD shirts? I have so many shirts now (probably not as much as some of you). The bin I put them in is starting to overflow. I probably only wear maybe four of them consistently during the fall/winter for runs. I have came close to tossing the ones I don't wear but thought I would hold onto them a little longer.
But my rD shirts are in the WFH and casual wear category, and I'll wear them a lot, starting about a month ago. Of note is that my earliest rD shirts from 2009 and 2011 are still holding up quite well. These are the white Champion shirts with the half and full marathon logos. Worth mentioning is that all of my long-sleeve rD shirts have been converted to short sleeve to make them comfortable for warm weather, and they do sometimes get worn for a training run or a local race. Oh, and when I do go to WDW, rD shirts are now what I usually wear in the parks.
