The guy at the end that talked to me about my 21XXX bib said we could email track shack to get official timing for today’s race. I’ve got it on my watch, so I’m not going to worry about it.

In other news, I almost started a fight at the finish line and then started having a panic attack in the snack box line (I got saved by the bib guy actually, because having to stop and talk snapped me out of it)

For the love of Mickey, can we please get a “I don’t want the blasted snack box” line??

This was my 2nd longest Disney half by both moving time and overall time, yet it was my shortest by distance (I think most of my character lines went with the direction of the race, so I cut some distance)

Oh good! I was actually wondering if it was useful for anyone, and was getting self conscious as my time was dropping back. If it could help anyone, I can do it for the marathon tomorrow too.

Can you maybe screenshot on a map where he was? That’s the second character photo I missed this weekend in that spot. And I would like not to miss it a 3rd time since I was looking today and still missed him

For people having tracking “waiting to start” issues would be really helpful to know if you were in the affected range shared or not. Debating going to expo today to check mine even though I’m not in it for marathon (I’d no tracking for 10k boo)

Yes please. It was super helpful for the back of packers and getting them the ability to get one or two characters with planning.

Mine is also 21xxx and it was not in the listed ranges, and I didn't get an email. They wrote down my bib number and told me to wear both tomorrow.

so i dont need to waste more time to go to expo? or should i since no one stopped me or wrote down my number and no emails

well thats just great...same for me. I am 21457 and it is waiting to start. i have 10k results but not half. how can they screw this and the messaging up so spectacularly?!

The funny thing is that I'm seeing people say they never received an email, yet I have them coming in as if I were still registered and running.

In the past, I've speculated about whether or not I'd like a retirement job at WDW, one where I go in and work 4-hour shifts for pay, something to do, and benefits. Maybe driving the MK firetruck around...
Now I'm wondering about working for rD and trying to either make it work better or at least have a better appreciation for the glitches when they happen.

It's no big deal for me. Most of the time I don't even bother looking at the official results and just use my watch time. I'm not establishing any PoTs or BQs this weekend, so as long as they hand over the challenge medals tomorrow, I'm fine.

Feeling this exactly. I might flip my old one upside down and wear them layered tomorrow to see what happens, but as long as I finish and get the bling I’m good.

It would've been really nice if they'd been consistent about pulling and talking to people about this at the end...

Also, the correct solution to the snack box issue is to just politely accept one, move on, and give me the chips and cheese...

omg that loop with the camber was awful today...it went 360 degrees around and I thought it would never end. lol

Take it in stages. Wear both bibs tomorrow and if it tracks, there's no issue whatsoever. If it doesn't, you've got 8 months to email with one or both RunDisneys to sort it out. You're not going to be the only one in this situation, so I don't think you'll have an issue getting it sorted by DL Halloween.

I liked the course! Like others said, a tad too dark and puddle-y in cone alley, but it wasn’t too crowded when I went through. Backwards through MK was good too if only for variety.

I didn’t like the setup for castle pics....because they had us running through everyone else’s pics as you exited. Sorry random runners for ruining your castle shot

My only other “what the heck” moment was that very short switchback to get on the overpass After mile 10. There was nowhere else over 13 miles to add that little fraction of road?
