Either too many groups are using the same landmark for meetups, or I just suck at finding people this early in the morning, but I've been wandering by the light changing sign for several minutes without finding anyone.

I may try and cobble together a sign for tomorrow. Apparently, I'm very recognizable, but short. Stay tuned!

The bartender of the regal eagle (inside EPCOT) commented on Facebook that she is aiming to have the bar open by before 9am for the marathon.

She’s the one who used to open Thirsty River early. Glad she’s keeping up the tradition.

Been in line for Mushu for 15 minutes, and I'm already over this get-all-the-pics thing. I'm way too impatient, and my feet already hurt from standing! I definitely appreciate the opportunity, but none of today's characters are musts for me.

My neighbor who is doing Dopey didn’t get in until 10pm last night and got in line at 3am. He was just getting to the front when the race started. We stood with him for a few minutes before going to the corrals. That line was huge.

If you cobble together a sign I can volunteer my 198cm of height to hold it to make it more visible.

They cut a wave right behind where I was standing this morning in corral A, and since I was trying for a new PR I think I was one of the few people to voluntarily move back a wave so I could be at the front. Went under 22:00 for the first time in over 2 decades. New PR since I don’t count high school times. 21:57 start to finish on watch, but watch clicked the 5k at 21:29. I’m happy with both times!!

Was very glad to see pre/post race characters back but a little bummed that Pluro wasn't there. I'll be curious to see who's out tomorrow. Will they just keep this lineup? Will they at least have Dopey out after the Full?

I was surprised Pluto wasn't there. For W&D the lineup changed each day.
